What Gives ?

Just took my shiney new TIRPITZ out for a battle. Received ZERO damage. The details report "Damaged received" tab shows total of ZERO.

Yet Credits and XP totals tab however shows i was debited 13,300 .

Are we paying for the privilage ?

Its rare you have a game without receiving any damage and you tend to notice when it occurs.

I had a game in my Tirpitz just moments ago and noticed i paid 14,000 in damage costs whilst receiving no damage at all. The only thing I can guess at, is you damage yourself as you shoot, the more you shoot the more damage you give yourself?

There is something called "Maintenance cost", which is the minimum cost required to take your ship out for battle.

This cost is applied to tier5 ships and above, with tier10 having the highest cost.

This was done as a way to balance the game economy, especially Carriers who can snipe across the map without risking himself damaged.

You need to repair your guns you know... :D

We are talking about sea-going ships with big guns. Not tanks with their tiny toy guns.

Schnapps, coal, diesel, vodka, rum, and many other important things have to be supplied.

There is a joke that goes,

Q: "How do you make a rich man poor?"

A: "Give him a boat!"
