As the title says..

Ship still going straight after I gave command to turn to port / starboard

-You have to shift the rudder again to get everything back to normal (no matter u shift it back to 1/2 or 0.)

-This will happen on any ship.

Just giving you 4 screenshots to show what is actually happening.

Occurrences:  Randomly. Rare
Tested: Cannot force error, but it does re-occur.
Severity: Medium.

please don't say this is my Internet problem.

I can confirm that this happens. Possibly related to packet loss, especially when firing or being fired upon - I hit A or D, but my rudder indicator does not move whatsoever, and I frequently have to hit the turn keys again before my ships response.

We noted way back in Alpha (Jan) that rudder shift is lost at time during high packet loss.

For me it I have to take my finger off the rudder key, then reappy keystroke before ruddershift takes effect. It seems like if you keep the finger down on the key, the original keystoke lost due to ping is recorded on client but lost to server.

Lifting finger off and retapping key seems to work, if packet losss/lag pike/ rubberbandiing is variable.
