On the first day, there are rages about missing stuff.

On the second day, there are rages about stuff.

On the third day, there are rages about removing stuff.

And on the last day, the cycle starts anew

Range isn't even particularly important for battleships, unless you have an overwhelming desire to be useless anything over 15km is generally not particularly effective, and frankly I don't see a low range being much of an issue for a tier 4 battleship due to the accuracy they all have.

Doers it have AA?  That would instantly make it more usable than the Arkansas.

IIRC a whopping 4 AA rating.

This ^

From what I know so far, the Ishizuchi has these traits:

Bad:

- Almost no AA.

- Thinner armor, but you can still bounce shots if angle your armor properly.

- Concealment: 16.6km surface spotting, and 11.2km air.

Average:

- Gun range. (12.9km, not bad at all).

- Gun caliber. (12-inch, should be sufficient to pen BB if you know how to aim).

- Maneuverability: 740m turn radius, 16.9 sec rudder shift.

Positive:

- Good number of main guns (5x twins).

- Good number of secondary guns.

- Fast. (27.9 knots)

- Guns rotate quickly.

She's a good Cruiser killer, and still be able to put a dent on other BB, but on a BB slugging match or air defense she doesn't fare very well. However, in those cases where you are at a disadvantage, you have that great speed to use.

I just could not understand why people love seeing at least a single digit of number over none, when both performs the same in every aspect.

Except that it doesn't.  All the AA damage adds up, so when most or all ships have at least some AA then no CV player can operate with impunity like they're pretty much doing at tiers 4 and 5 right now.  Over the course of the battle the CV will inevitably suffer attrition, losing at least some planes, meaning fewer planes will be attacking and that's how it should be.  But because hardly any tier 4 ships, especially BBs, have AA the whole thing is just a sick, sad joke on us by the developers.

ASIA server doesn't get a ship, we complain that we want it.

ASIA server gets the ship, we complain we don't want it.

ASIA server then removes the ship, we complain why is it removed.

Be GLAD they are even letting you buy this ship.

AHEM.

Can someone just post the AA damage stats of the ship already, so people who got no idea what the rating system is about will know the actual numbers.

I like to think tiers 4 and 5 are "CV training ground"

they operate however the hell they feel like and don't have any risks at all so they can practice the manual droppage

Not to forget that low tier CVs can't escape once you find them with their 18 knot speeds.

don't worry, nobody smart enough to go hunt around the back at all. So continue to operate at relative impunity :^)

All irrelevant, but you already knew that. Show me your shot down tally in an Arkansas and then I'll be impressed.

Don't know, man. It seems like you're saying the only way a player can do well in a battleship is if it's capable of shooting down planes.

If a CV captain lets his planes circle around an Ishizuchi enough to have even a single plane shot down, he's doing it so wrong.

Most captains wouldn't even let you have a chance at that.

Practically, her 2km AA with such pitiful DPS is nothing.

Except most IJN CV can move at 25+ knots. Only Bogue and Langley have under 20 knots speed. :hiding:

(And let's not forget their low detectability range)

welllll a battleship with no AA guns is just asking for a smart CV player to automatically go 'FREE LUNCH'

if i could stomach CV gameplay (it really isn't fun right now clubbing EVERYBODY, not my idea of great gameplay) I would instantly pick out ships like arkansas and Myogi pre-3 body upgrade

Just floating metal exp pinatas

Arkansas' actually pretty nimble for a battleship once you grab the rudder upgrade. Still ungodly slow, but dodging plane swarms is possible.
