Get a friend/two friends. Get into a platoon or whatever its called in WOWS. Steam straight into the cap, sit still, and take turn setting smoke screens for your platoon. Wait for enemy to come. Torp them.

An idea, use it for shenanigans if you want.

I am laughing at a corner again.

don't know why, it's a perfectly valid way to win every game you go into (not much XP but a win) - CV's are too busy chasing each other to put a single squadron over caps these days, BB and CA are too scared to go near it - 2 or 3 DD working together and timing the smoke could sit there and cap out inside of 5 minutes and rack up a couple of enemy DD kills as well.  (and that's even with the 4.0 nurf to smoke)

Saw this happen a lot of times. There's one pretty easy way to counter it.

Step 1. Be an IJN DD or CA.

Step 2. Launch your entire torpedo armament into the smoke cloud

Step 3. ???

Step 4. DEVASTATING STRIKE! DEVASTATING STRIKE! DOUBLE STRIKE!

the amount of times that's happened to me I can count on 1 finger - 99.99% of the time the cap is ignored for way too long - by the time they (or your side) do anything about it - GG WP it's over
