My New Toy...

So I got the USS Constellation for Lady Liberty, and I'm enjoying her. Well, for the most part. She's fast and agile enough. She has big guns. However the problem starts with her guns itself: they have short range. Even with plotting room modification it will still come up a bit short relative to other battleships. Then there's her design--the final design of the Lexington-class battlecruisers is different from what we get with the Constellation ingame. Ingame Constellation is a three deck monstrosity that looks unwieldy, and a very tempting target at her height and mass. In practical terms, in real life I  don't think she would be able to attain 33 knots as she does ingame with the way she is designed. For comparison the final design for the Lexington-class is much sleeker, with a single deck hull instead of the double deck the Constellation has. Dunno why WG designed Constellation this way. Her armor is okay--sub par and there are a few battles I'm in that just had me anxious as hp goes down dramatically when sustaining hits from other battleships, never mind having to just turn at every sound of torpedoes closing in.

She is a dependable ship in Co-op.

Definitely not a brawler, as her armour scheme does not agree with CQC, but she has heavy hitting guns, and her torpedoes are an added bonus.

I just get that as well, though I'm not into subs. It will just be for collection and will most likely be a port queen...

I will give subs a go, but like everything I have it is a lot of practice in Coop, then see if it it can be useful in Operations, then Brawls and some randoms, if I feel it

I think you probably won't get a good impression of Submarines from Co-Op. Definitely try them out in a PvP mode, though. Their sneaky, cat-and-mouse style of play can be fun once you get the hang of it (and if you can ignore the playerbase animosity).

And pushing too far from your support is death on a stick unless you know what you are doing.

a while till I get any of the Queen of the seas rewards, but I got Schlieffen for the current Brawls and future events, now I need some credits to equip all the new toys. Yukon is quit reasonable in Operations

Yukon is nice, wish I had the time to give all my toys some play
