Opening the 3 daily crates and choosing the More Coal option will get you a minimum of 438,000 coal in one year. Add in the clan bonus (if any) and the chance of a crate containing 800 coal or even 1200 coal and that amount can get a lot higher. Coal is the easiest resource to earn.

I have all the coal ships, so have nothing to spend it on apart from combat flags and collection boxes (to feed oil into my clan).

Not to mention the daily missions (add another third onto all your figures, which is far from insignificant), so your guaranteed coal income from 'dailies' racks up pretty damned quick (along with the random missions which have coal rewards). Of course, as a newer player, I'd like more coal since I can't decide between getting Marceau/Lutjens/Napoli atm (only enough for one), but since I didn't do the maths for it months in advance, I wasn't expecting to be sitting on anywhere near this much until at least December/when the resource coupon renews.

The absolute maximum coal in 12 months from the daily crates and daily mission chain (plus 10% clan bonus) is 1,606,000. I think realistically for someone who plays every day of the year you can expect to gather around 650,000 coal. This excludes all the other opportunities to collect the stuff, the weekly base xp missions that give economics crates (often coal in them), the 2 monthly SC's (sometimes coal) etc.

I'm saving my credits for the next group of superships - not to play, but for the snowflake prize. Credits are a "free" resource, so spending 50 million for a pixel boat isn't bad or wasteful, and for me is a better use than a small amount of coal.

I got the Ohio flag with a bid of 50 days of prem. Min was 30 so i got 20 back. Yay! Really needed them back so badly.

I had so much Prem days I bid 90 days. The only useful time I've ever seen with the excessive amount of Prem time you get with event containers over the last couple of years.
