I got 2500 coal in one bundle with economic bonuses and the other one contained only bonuses. Not bad for just playing the game.

The probability of getting the ship within the first 5 draws is 14.3%.

It is designed to hook you in and burn your credits/doubloons. Some will get lucky, some won't.

got sick of the campaign, then found out i can buy 3x tokens for 10.5m credits.

got hampshire on 3rd token, i guess for 105m credits then.

its quite a bad ship and is nothing more than food in tier 8, 9 and 10.

Though I'd probably take it over the tiger 59.

The Hampshire was my first random bundle and I bought if for 1000 doubloons because I didn't know then that I could earn 2 'Navigator Tokens' for free just by completing the campaign.

The Hampshire is an incredibly weak cruiser at tier 8, it should have been a tier 7 cruiser. I don't think it will survive for very long in a random battle with tiers 9 and 10 cruisers around. Both tech tree tier 8 RN cruisers are much better than Hampshire. I even doubt if it will perform well in Operations.

That is the question. If the ship is balanced then it's fine. Everybody complains when a new ship is OP, and everybody complains when a new ship is NOT OP. I just roll my eyes and laugh. Most of my ships only leave port for snowflakes, whats one more.

Hampshire feels similar to Mogami, but with gun reload of Hipper. She gives up HE shell for the improved acceleration/deceleration found on British DDs & CLs.

I don't think Hampshire is that weak. Instead of relying on heal, you simply have to "just dodge" your way out of harm (much like any cruiser that doesn't have heal). Or you can just hump the shore & lob your AP over the islands like you play the American cruisers. Hampshire's base gun range 16.8 km, which is plentiful enough for a T8. Her armor scheme is also not that bad; 25mm extremities, 27mm sides, and 30mm deck. Basically none of the large cruisers can actually overmatch her when properly angled. Unlike Albemarle, which gets sucker-punched in the face & rear all day.

I'd take Hampshire over Albemarle any day. If the question is whether she is worth to buy or not, I would say nope. Spend your money on Atago or Eugen instead.

I did the entire campaign in about 2 hours in coop last night. It's really very quick and easy.

So basically what the tech tree UK CA line should have been if they don't get the stupid HE but have the improved acceleration instead?
