I have heard A LOT of voices from all different media including OFFICIAL announcement about all the mentioned ships being the tier x US aircraft carrier. Both sides have good reasons and the official site last mentioned us CV was way back n the alpha. So can I have an exact answer which ship will be in US tier X CV tech-tree or it's currently TBD?

Yorktown is a bit embarrassing for either Tier 9 or Tier 8, but 100% not a Tier 10.

To this date it should still be the Midway as Tier 10.

It's still Closed Beta, official announcements don't really count for much since everything is in flux. Right now, the tier X USN CV is believed to be the Midway-class. It is extremely unlikely that the Yorktown-class will be a tier X, as they were succeeded by the Essex-class.

Take note that the Yorktown-class CV nameship (CV-5) and USS Yorktown (CV-10) are two different ships.

Just for distinction purpose, the famous Big-E (USS Enterprise) is one of 3 Yorktown-class.

The other Yorktown which succeeded the former's name is one of Essex-class.

Yorktown (CV-5) was the nameship for her class, yeah. When she was lost at Midway, an Essex-class carrier (CV-10) was renamed to Yorktown to commemorate her.

Yeah, the same happened to Enterprise.

Funny how the Yorktown (CV-10) was saved to become museum ship, but the Enterprise wasn't.

The Americans Did Attempted to convert the Big E into a Museum but there's no one paying enough for the Navy to not sell it.

And the fact that the Americans Named the CVN-65 as Enterprise is already a very very high level of recognition.

Nah, Enterprise happened a lot later. CV-6 survived the war and was decommissioned and scrapped, and the name (and battle honors) got passed on to CVN-65, CVN-80, NX-01 and NCC-1701.
