Closed Test, Changes to Test Ships

We adjusted the parameters of ships based on testing results. The changes will be applied to Canarias, Dido, F. Sherman, Incomparable, Preussen, Pan-Asian cruisers, and Italian destroyers. 

 

Tier VI Canarias, Spanish Cruiser:

  • Removed "Burst Fire" alternative fire mode.
  • Main battery reload time decreased from 15 sec to 10 sec.
  • Maximum main battery firing range increased from 14.5 km to 16.5 km.
  • Added "Engine Boost" consumable that increases ship's maximum speed by 15%.
  • Changed the parameters of the AP shells:
    • Maximum damage increased from 3,800 to 4,500.
    • Armor penetration increased by 2 times.

The Canarias was one of the first ships in our game on which we tested the alternative fire mode mechanics. The new mechanics performed well on the Canarias, but it still requires a number of tweaks and improvements before it is used outside super ships. That's why we removed the alternative fire mode from the ship, compensating for it by strengthening the main caliber guns and adding a new consumable.

 

Tier VI Dido, British Cruiser:

  • Main battery reload time increased from 6.5 sec to 8.5 sec.

 

Tier X Sevastopol, Soviet Cruiser:

  • Removed "Engine Boost" consumable.
  • "Fast Damage Control Team" replaced by "Damage Control Party".
  • Changed the parameters of the "Repair Party" consumable:
    • Reload time increased from 70 sec to 200 sec.
    • Action time increased from 60 sec to 90 sec.
    • Number of consumables reduced 4 to 3.
    • Restoration of hit points per second increased from 187 to 313.
    • Restoration of hit points after receiving damage to the citadel increased from 10% to 33%.
    • Restoration of hit points after receiving damage to the parts of the hull increased from 50% to 75%.

 

Tier X Forrest Sherman, American Destroyer:

  • Number of "Smoke Generator" consumables reduced from 3 to 2.

 

Tier V Chungking, Pan-Asian Cruiser:

  • Base hull main battery reload time increased from 7.5 sec to 10.5 sec.
  • Researchable hull main battery reload time increased from 7.5 sec to 9.5 sec.
  • Torpedo tubes reload time increased from 85 sec to 115 sec.
  • "Smoke Generator" consumable reload time increased from 100 sec to 110 sec. 
  • Sigma Parameter decreased from 2.05 to 2.

 

Tier VI Rahmat, Pan-Asian Cruiser:

  • Main battery reload time increased from 7 sec to 7.5 sec.
  • "Smoke Generator" consumable reload time increased from 100 sec to 110 sec. 
  • Sigma Parameter decreased from 2.05 to 2.

 

Tier VII Chumphon, Pan-Asian Cruiser:

  • Main battery reload time increased from 6.25 sec to 6.5 sec.
  • "Smoke Generator" consumable reload time increased from 100 sec to 110 sec. 
  • Sigma Parameter decreased from 2.05 to 2.

 

Tier VIII Harbin, Pan-Asian Cruiser:

  • Main battery reload time increased from 5.25 sec to 5.5 sec.
  • "Smoke Generator" consumable reload time increased from 100 sec to 110 sec.

 

Tier IX Sejong, Pan-Asian Cruiser:

  • Main battery reload time increased from 5 sec to 5.5 sec.
  • "Smoke Generator" consumable reload time increased from 100 sec to 110 sec.

 

Tier IX Dalian, Pan-Asian Cruiser:

  • Main battery reload time increased from 5 sec to 5.5 sec.
  • "Smoke Generator" consumable reload time increased from 100 sec to 110 sec.
  • "Smoke Generator" consumables increased from 3 to 4.
  • "Repair Party" consumables increased from 3 to 4.
  • Removed "Hydroacoustic Search" consumable.

 

Tier X Jinan, Pan-Asian Cruiser:

  • "Smoke Generator" consumable reload time increased from 100 sec to 110 sec.

 

Tier X Incomparable, British Battlecruiser:

  • Main battery reload time increased from 28 sec to 29 sec.

 

Tier X Preussen, German Battleship:

Removed the 20-mm AA guns. Due to this, the AA parameters of the ship were changed:

  • Damage of short-range AA guns reduced from 291 to 245. 
  • Damage of medium-range AA guns increased from 326 to 329.
  • Continuous AA damage reduced from 370 to 355.

The changes will come into effect with the release of update 0.11.0

 

Tier V Maestrale, Tier VI Aviere, Tier VIII Vittorio Cuniberti, and Tier IX Adriatico, Italian Destroyers:

In order to achieve a more consistent progression of torpedo armament in the branch, the following changes were made:

  • Current torpedo modules became researchable.
  • Added stock torpedo modules:
    • For Maestrale and Vittorio Cuniberti, they are similar to torpedo modules of Turbine and Luca Tarigo respectively.
    • For Aviere and Adriatico, they are similar to researchable torpedo modules of destroyers of the previous tier.

The changes will come into effect on the main server with the release of Update 0.11.1, as well as on the server of the Public Test for this update.

Sorry but that's one of the rare case where WG is actually being logical. If you ever encounter anyone with Sevastopol in Random, you'd see these changes are not even enough to make it balanced. They remove the EB, but they also buff the survivability a lot. They turn it from a high speed pseudo battlecruiser into a large cruiser with BB level survivability. Those changes are neither nerfs nor buffs, they just change the ship's playstyile.

Bringing that ship down to T9 will cause a much bigger mess than Musashi regardless the stats. Even with all the nerfs, Musashi is still one of the most hated T9 ships for those who don't own her.

They could also do it the other around.

Bring Siegfried up to T10. With buffs and nerfs if necessary.

 

Yes, I know, there were no premiums ships that were up-tiered or down-tiered on this game (except premium CV, due to CV Wreee-work).

However, knowing WG, they have broken their words several times before, wouldn't be surprised if they break this one soon.

Aghh whatever I'm sitck on Atlanta if you made my precious CL main gun with slow reload like has JP destroyer so badly

The main gun so horrible sigma value 1.8 don't think about to brawling with other BB or fend off the planes
The GK or Schlieffen could do better than this 
What'd I expect for waste my time to take both of Prussia and GK?
I have worst experience about main gun capability from low-mid tier I would like to expect high-end tier should be better but never happen ,screw your RNG dumb!
