yes, if you are not used to the unique style of a hybrid

if you are a sniper, this ship is definately not suitable for you due to it's limited range

it is plausible for you to snipe but that requires accurate aiming and..........luck...(RNG u know)

i would recommend other bb like the musashi, thunderer and most of the USN bbs with the dispersion upgrade

the armor is......meh and this giant will recieve massive amount of damage with the superstructure and the underwhelming turning radius.

The new German battle cruisers may be a good choice for brawlers, or even italian bbs

it seems that the Kearsarge is good at providing assistance/scouting when CV is not avaliable

Kearsarge is not a AP damage dealer with it's subpar AP shells

you may want to use HE when facing bow in targets

for me, i believed that kearsarge is way better than the Minnesota

the ship is a gudbote but not overpowered, when compared with the ones which destroy the balance

YES,  and that's a lot.

ok so let's just have a look at the same tier, Tier IX Battleships.

460mm pen everything you see: Musashi (recently not able to buy)

Infinity forward firepower: Jeanbart ( black Friday container)

S  p  e  e  d machine and very accurate 457mm gun: Georgia (recently not able to buy)

and also the new German battlecruiser

Kearsarge is more like a multipurpose ship,

she can spot the enemy when DD and CV are too busy or already sunk,

can force the enemy to use damage control with Tiny Tim,

BUT 

**** armor

MK6 **** gun, hard to land the shot ( at least for me, it's too hard)

AND UGLY

Good-looking is fighting power XD

You can even pad your stats with that ship despite all the glitches due to the old PC setup from 2010. All you need to do is to find the right place to park & draw enemy's attention away for as long as possible with your guns & radar. And of course, Petro is still banned from Clan Battles for a good reason. She is even more well-armored than Schlieffen!

Slap the Made of Steel camo on her, and you get everything good about Stalingrad at half price!

seriously, Kearsarge is good sniper, good brawler but terible drifter... If you push forward the only way is forward... 

 

Kearsarge is ridiculously accurate if you know how to aim... Just handling her is terrible.

Fact: Tulsa ranked 6th in 18 T9 cruisers in a recent poll in NA server, meanwhile few players in SEA server exchanged her in the armory.

US ships certainly gets much more love in NA server, that's easy to understand.

The can't survive a brawl much less initiate and win it like Schlieffen. Are the secondary guns of K as deadly as those of the German tier X battleships?

No doubt that K is a good ship for players who have mastered it but I would choose the Schlieffen over the K.

I actually like the Kearsage, but  it can be attributed to my more reserved BB playstyle
