I believe a good idea and one that i dont think would be too hard to implement would be that dead ships should have a randomness in timing of sinking . say between as they are now and one or two minutes .

This would further increase randomness of strategy as you could park your DD behind carcass of a carrier/BB for safety till it sinks .   The torpedoes and shells still impact dead hulls so why not add a further aspect to the game and randomise their sinking times .

I'd love to see hulked ships remain afloat and sink very, very slowly. Hell, give the hulks their own hitpoint value so their sinking can be accelerated.

also leave them burning too, I mean it looks really really boring to look at a sinking ship not burning from torpedo/shell hits..

the slow sinking can be apply to ship that die from burning and shells (if not hit at crtical part)

but this doesnt apply very well for sink that got torn in half :teethhappy:

its not just about sunken ships. from what I can see, if you collide with another ship or run aground, you don't lose any HP. 

 

you actually lose HP if you collide with a teammate ship, both of you will be fined depending on who hits first or something lol~

BB always pay more..............

the bigger you are the more you have to pay.......

i got gangbang by 2 DD teammate once

they pay less then i pay them....

Slowly sinking ships depending on their damage taken or big they are is quite a good idea and gives more like realistic aspect >.>

I would also love to see sunken ships on shallow waters, and make them water hazards like an artificial island lol~

Dunno if it's already a thing or just a bug:

Oh god, Idk why, but it looks funny x'D

 

I'm pretty sure it's just a bug, ships tend to get absorbed by the ocean here in this game, whether you're in shallow water or near a beach~

slower Sink if caused by Fire or HE shells mostly

Faster sink if caused by Torpedoes or Flooding mostly

Between those 2 if caused by AP Shells mostly

Even faster Sink if get Rammed by Heavier Ship or Rammed heavier ship (Capsize)

Slightly faster than Torpedoes and flooding if caused by Magazine Detonation

all good points gentlemen , the idea of ships sitting dead on rocky shallow bottoms would be great .

I suspect that ships are deliberately designed to sink and vanish quickly as lots of dead ships on fire or whatever might be pretty, but it's going to cause performance issues.

ah, that's an issue too, how can a ship get Burned to dead By torpedoes (except detonation of magazine)

Capsized ships that just float maybe move with the current would be interesting as block routes.

Dont forget ships that are killed while they are stuck on land/ beached, they would remain until the end of a match.
