How about this collaboration, as the HMS Kenya had a Mountbatten pink camouflage in WW2. Why not have camo and Unique Captain as a premium ship.

HMS Kenya is a Fiji class Light cruiser, and who does not want more of them?

Camo has:

-4% Detectabilty range by sea

+4% Dispersion of shells by enemies firing at your ship

+75% XP per battle

+75% Commander XP

+ 25% Free XP

Captain does not say anything, just the image and has theme music by henry Mancini?

Historically I am unsure, I am just looking at the period it had the Mountbatten Pink camo, I reflect that in the perma camo. Otherwise same ship, but who dooesn't want more Fijis? When you can have nearly 16 Amagis and 5 Kongos?

Operation Pedestal[edit]

Kenya played a prominent role in Operation Pedestal in August 1942.  Pedestal was a Royal Navy operation to escort a convoy of 14 merchant ships through the western Mediterranean to relieve and resupply the besieged island of Malta.  The convoy escort was the largest ever assembled in World War 2, comprising 2 battleships, 4 aircraft carriers, 7 light cruisers (including Kenya) and 26 destroyers.  Through 11^th and 12^th August, it successfully fought off massed air attacks by the German Luftwaffe and the Italian Regia Aeronautica, with the loss of only 1 merchant ship and 1 destroyer.  The aircraft carrier HMS Eagle was also lost to a lone submarine attack on 11^th August.

The heavily mined waters between Sicily and Tunisia (the Narrows) made it too dangerous for the battleships and surviving aircraft carriers to escort the convoy all the way to Malta, and for the last 300km, the escort comprised a smaller force (Force X) of cruisers and destroyers, including Kenya.  During the night of 12^th August and during the following day, the convoy was heavily attacked by Axis air forces, submarines and motor torpedo boats. During these actions, Kenya's bow was blown off by a torpedo fired by the Italian submarine Alagi.  This necessitated emergency shoring of the forward bulkhead and a reduced maximum speed of 25 knots.

In all, a further 2 cruisers and 8 merchant ships were lost in the night action of August 12/13^th; Only Rochester Castle, Port Chalmers, Melbourne Star, Brisbane Star and the oil tanker Ohio made it to Grand Harbour Valletta, and Kenya was left as the most powerful surviving ship in Force X. After leading the surviving ships of the convoy to the safety of Malta’s fighter screen,.  Kenya then led Force X safely back to Gibraltar, despite further air attacks.

It is a valiant ship and deserves to get her own premium in my opinion

She also saw service in the Korean War. so basically a simple Fiji

Yes, she is. But, you know that might be only a few people inside WG had any interest on that since it's not soviet ship. Or if they interested, there still a possibility that they will mess it up somehow.
Some players in my country had this kind of opinion when some of us proposed Irian to WG, since It's already had a similar platform with Kutuzov. In the end Irian was good enough, and most players from our country (including myself) are satisfied enough with the results.

I mean WG did put HMS Ajax camo on HMS Leander (in the game).

Good idea, I think it can be done. Especially if WG want to avoid "Oh it's just lazy copy-paste ship" rant from certain people.

If it is just the camo that is all I think is necessary, easy and efficient. It is the anniversary of Operation Pedestal, the Supply of Malta in august 1942, next year it is 80 years that it happened.

The Pink Panther Captain is just for fun, if that is possible, just think of the Plushies, with a WG Torp!!!

There will be a small bump on the road for the "Pink Panther Commander".

Pink Panther does not have a voice / speaking lines.

Since the ship is british, the commander (Pink Panther) will use british commander voiceover.

Because it has no voice lines and just uses British Commander, they should not ruin it like Godzilla etc?

A nice too, but just the ship with the Camo. It has history and purpose

yes, that is a bonus if they can. As I see it it is a win, win as Pink Panther is a legacy character not in pop culture in the last few years. A s good chance to get back in the game. Plushys are good

It's depend on WG, if they consider this collaboration with Pink Panther related theme had potential for market profit, they will go for it. But honestly, for me the ship and her distinctive camouflage are the main dish, and the special commander/character are like a fine dessert that made the banquet perfected.
