Operations give less?

Operation lasted 18 minutes, and 3 stars.

Random lasted 13 minutes, only did a bit more than half of the damage in the Operation. But the credits earned is slightly less, while the exp earned is more.

How or why?

WG has nerfed how much players earn in operations back in 2020.

WG intentionally did this to make force players to play random battles.

 

WG also said that operations are unpopular.

Which is a lie. Since WG intentionally nerf how much player earn. WG fault, not player fault.

And if it's unpopular, why players keep asking for operations in almost every WG stream.

They don't like players to flock on operations since it will lessen the population on random games.

I wonder how long did you take to enter the game as CV in Ops, especially on weekend.

Well, other than for the free 10-point standard captain; there is practically no reason to play Ops.

And Ryujo is not that weak even when uptiered. So you'd want to stick to Random if you really need credits.

On weekends? 3-10 minutes. Faster is there's a lot of DD's that are queueing.
Appeal on Ops = fighting against predictable enemy spawn for fast turnaround and less frustrations. (When compared to random).

Alright it does give more when 5 stars.

Still, it is quite a chore to actually achieve 5 stars.

I thought it was less about making people do Randoms, and more about economics. Namely, WG thought it was too easy to grind operations for high amounts for credits, ECXP, XP and FXP. Especially if you were in a division where you could guarantee a win.

Whereas there is no guarantee of winning in Randoms regardless of how good you are.

Couple of years ago, the wolves could 6 man Narai, 4-5 times an hour, and all of us would get upwards of 1300 base XP per game each.

Nowadays its a stretch for all of us to get over 1000 base XP.

It was an easy way to get credits and XP, and WG did not like that. They want you more desperate so you have to spend money

On the plus side, Ops are fairly easy. The downside is they haven't supported them in the longest time and consistently tell us crud that's just bs.

Basically Ops aren't enough of a priority to warrant resources, I think they should be but I wish they'd just tell the truth instead of 'believable' lies. Unfortunately they seem to want to always do the bs lies (ref. QnAs).

PvE has always rewarded less than PvP. Because WG wants you to play PvP.

Learn the 10 lessons, and we will get through to more Operations, more fun and better rewards.

I play the long game, with small rewards, but I look to each task completed and feel reward in completing what I can.

Thanks to the Social Wolves and the great bunch of players I have met online, I get to enjoy Operations often. 

If I can help, then message me. even just one other person that goes into an Operation with you, will increase the chance of success and joint fulfilment of what needs to be done.

The more I do these Ops the easier and better they become for me, Newport is tough, but it can be done when you have people that work with you and not against you.

This is what Operations brings to game, and why so many in my Opinion want more!?
