WG:

If you're the last man standing against a prevalent enemy force, the best thing you can do, from an economic point point of view, is to spend your remaining HP on causing as much damage as possible. AKA fight.

Running away to the edge of the map and waiting for the red team to win by capturing the base, won't achieve anything.

WG knows that players are running away to the edge of the map.

Edit:

WG is watching you play.

That's pretty much it.
Damage is all that matters.
The higher it is the more you earn, pretty similar to WoT mechanics.

Yep.

But the flip side on this is that WG did not consider the other aspects of the ships.

CV is the worse hit after the CV rework.

They are too expensive to operate on a damage oriented economics.

You either break even or owe WG credits (negative credits).

CV is pretty much most of the time on the negative (coop) unless you play when there's less then 3K people online.
That way targets don't die soon or fast giving you more time to farm for damage.

Not only in co-op, but also in randoms.

From an average player's point of view.

Average players must have both premium time and permanent camo in order for them to either profit or break even.

I agree that in dead zones (less than 3k players) that's the time you can comfortably farm in co-op.
