So it would seem that the Cleveland radar nerf is a THING and it still EXIST in PTS 10.6

Dev blog is now live

The changes are applied to German destroyers, Fenyang, and other ships.

Having analyzed combat performance and taken player feedback into account, we've changed the characteristics of several ships. These changes were required in order to carefully adjust the balance of the mentioned warships. As usual, we'll monitor the impact of the changes and the general balance of the ships and apply changes if deemed necessary.

German destroyer Gustav Julius Maerker, Tier VIII

  • Detectability range by sea reduced from 8.1 to 8 km. Other detectability ranges were reduced accordingly.

German destroyer Felix Schultz, Tier IX

  • Detectability range by sea reduced from 8.2 to 8.1 km. Other detectability ranges were reduced accordingly.

German destroyer Maass, Tier VII

  • Main battery reload time increased from 4 to 4.2 s.

Pan-Asian destroyer Fenyang, Tier VIII

  • Main battery reload time decreased from 4.9 to 4.7 s.

British battleship Queen Elizabeth, Tier VI

  • 180 degrees turn time reduced from 72 to 54.5 s.

British battleship Monarch, Tier VIII

  • Main battery firing range increased from 16.5 to 17 km.

British cruisers Leander, Tier VI and Fiji, Tier VII

  • Main battery reload time increased from 7.7 to 8 s.

British cruiser Edinburgh, Tier VIII

  • Main battery reload time increased from 7.5 to 7.7 s.

British destroyer Jervis, Tier VII

  • Detectability range by sea reduced from 8.1 to 8 km. Other detectability ranges were reduced accordingly.

American cruiser Baltimore, Tier VIII

  • Action time of the "Surveillance Radar" consumable reduced from 30 to 27 s.

Soviet cruiser Shchors, Tier VII

  • Main battery firing range increased from 15.2 to 15.7 km.

Italian battleship Andread Doria, Tier VI

  • Maximum SAP shell damage increased from 9,000 to 10,250.

Please note that all information in the development blog is preliminary. Announced adjustments and features may change multiple times during testing. The final information will be published on our game's website

Some interesting changes there...

Turret traverse on QE is a great change, range on Monarch, that looks like stock, so probs doesn't change the top module?

Andrea SAP buff, cool...

Maas - did she really need a nerf?

RN CL nerfs, really, again? I mean I can sort of see the logic but after this many years?

Generally I approve of this type of balancing and given how little of it we've seen over the years I expect we'll see more odd stuff over next 3-6 months and then more logical stuffs after...

Yeah.

So.

Russian radar apparently can't be used to spot DDs these days.

So doesn't need nerf.

Only American radar can see DDs.

Phew.

Rejoice DD players, you can dance the taunt dance around Russian cruisers now.

Are you referring to the fact that Russian Radar lasts so short that ships barely have time to fire?

Ah, that’s probably why I had so much trouble understanding you.

I wonder if they will apply the same buff to T5 Iron Duke.

I would be odd that T4 and T6 will have faster turret traverse while T5 is slow. Slowest turret traverse on all battleships in the game.

Microbalance

Most of the DD concealment adjustments I can get behind, the new German DDs could use a tad more utility, though the benefit of being able to get 100-200 m closer to a target or cap when you are outspotted by just about everything anyway is questionable.

Nerfs to Fiji and Jervis were expected.

The only one that makes me go "huuuuh?" is the Maas nerf. I already seemed a much weaker package overall than Z-39, and I've heard precisely no one opine that the ship was OP.
