Drake and Goliath modules

Hello.

 

I wonder if i should go for range module or reload module for the Drake and Goliath, respectively. Whilst the Drake has spotter planes, i find it very hard to shoot via spotters. The Goliath doesn't have access to spotter planes, which further more makes it harder to play her. But extra DPM is always great, or so i've heard. Can you help me ?

Range and Range so as not to die. Because you will be mostly kiting in a citadel prone ship. You can go reload on drake but the permanent extra range helps.

Drake if you can learn how to use spotter, go Reload.

Like honestly, do some training rooms or coop for a while to get the hang of it...

She doesn't have the dispersion for range mod IMO and has spotter, so if you can make it work, why not?

Goliath I hate her without reload mod, but you need the range...

Go range mod.

If you are struggling with her handling and citadel scheme (Drake is 10x better in both regards) run prop 1 and rudder 2 and WASD your heart out.

I'm have been running this build for about a year now and since about 3 months after my Goliath review 🤔

Oh yeah, i vaguely remember in your Goliath review video that you said the Goliath is straight up worse than the Drake, tier-for-tier (?)

Yeah, I mean it's strong from a meta perspective because it's HE and health is nuts and CBs...

But yeah for randoms, I rate Drake way better tier for tier

I'm abit more of an adventurous type myself compared to these chaps, (Keep in mind most of my experience playing this ship is from clan battles and I'm generally too lazy to respec the ships for randoms)
I can go in depth about my choices of the captain and modules if you like but here is what I run (My last point will most likely go to gun feeder or the consumables expert thingo)
