Thank you for making rocket planes now utterly useless. Bring back RTS CV.

Superbattleship mode: Terrible mode. Everyone sitting back in the BBs. If you happen to be on the more sitting back team, you lose.

Rocket planes are useless against destroyers and every mobile cruisers now. MVR basically is horrible without those rockets and the nerfed AP Dive Bombers. The AP rockets struggle to hit citadels and also DDs. And I spent money on the permanent camouflage. Am not a happy customer. Guess no more spotting and hitting DDs and focus on BBs until this is fixed. I also spent money on the Kaga which already has bad rockets made completely useless now.

German Destroyer

I do like the branching of tech tree ships, but just like American BB split (which could have started the branching from T6 or T7 rather than T8) and Soviet CA split (which could have started the branching from T5 rather than T8),
German DD branch could have started from either T5 or T6 rather than T7.

Branching from T5:

128 mm Branch:

T5 - T-22
(Flottentorpedoboot 1939)

T6 - T-61
(Flottentorpedoboot 1940)
This is a copy of T-61 ship while the premium ship will be renamed as T-63.
T-61 and T-63 will have different characteristics just like how Le Fantasque and Le Terrible is implemented. Since T-61 is a tech tree ship now and T-63 is a premium ship.

Grand Battle

No different to random and ranked battle.

 

Only added two tier 12 battleships that can overmatch.

Blocked T8 ships from playing in the match.

And have "Ranked Prime Time" in the game mode.

 

US Independence Day

Combat mission = good.

Auction = bad.

Unreasonable starting price. Since now the winners are shared across server (NA, EU, CIS, and ASIA combine), and not per server.

Friendly Fire

I have to agree with our players concern.

Totally remove the penalty or bring back the old system.

 

It makes no sense to keep an old mechanic on a new system.

It is like, you brought your cellphone, but no power since you removed the battery.

 

There will be trolls in the game. That's why the old system works.

Otherwise, remove the penalty. If they troll allied players, they don't get damage anyway.

 

 

Also the system still fails to differentiate between leaving the game (exit the game) or disconnected from the game (internet disconnection).

If a player leaves the game (exit the game), that player will be in port. Online.

If a player gets disconnected from the game (internet disconnection), that player will not be in port. Hence, offline. Probably in minutes or hours.

Just like chat room.

Hence there is a way to detect and differentiate between disconnection and exiting the game.

The current system still punishes both disconnection and exiting the game.

We want the punishment for exiting the game. Not disconnecting from the game.

 

Attack Aircraft

This change goes both ways.

Good for DD players. Bad for CV players.

 

DD players now have more room to maneuver before the get attacked.

CV players have to compensate. But even when compensating, the delay is very significant, that the attack aircraft can no longer attack DD efficiently.

 

Some could even argue that the change made attack aircraft almost useless that it feels like the CV now has only 2 types of offensive weapon rather than 3.

Just like before the CV rework 3 years ago. Where dive bombers and torpedo bombers are the only aircraft that can deal damage to surface ships. While fighter (now called attacker) are only for scouting / spotting duty.

Making the CV rework almost pointless.

 

Recruitment Points -> Community Token

This is an ok change / implementation.

The rewards are quite lucrative. But not lucrative enough.

It lacks T6 and T8 containers.

 

Now if you put research bureau ships and unique upgrade here, I'm pretty sure many players (if not, all players) will participate the PT testing.

Also, replace the combat challenge (monthly challenge) from research points to community tokens.

Community tokes would be a better replacement for research points in the combat challenge. Giving away research points in the combat challenge defeats the purpose of asking players to reset their tech tree and play low tier.

 

Daily Shipment

Credit where credit is due, another good thing WG has implemented.

Instead of only 14 days in the previous version, it is now 24 days with the remaining days as FXP.

 

I do have a suggestion, instead of having the best rewards in the last 5 days, why not make it in the last 7 or 8 days.

With this lucrative rewards, players are guaranteed to log-in every day.

 

Armory -> Naval Training Center / Research Bureau

Again like what I have said in the previous feedbacks, I have no problem against WG / Lesta updating the Unique Upgrades.

 

The main problem or the core of the problem lies in how Naval Training Center / Research Bureau mechanic is implemented.

And now, also adding the discrimination practice on who is only able to collect research points in combat missions.

 

The Re-grind:

Again and again, you (WG) said that you will re-work the NTC, instead, you (WG) only renamed it. There is a huge difference between the words re-work and re-name.

And now, by putting the Unique Upgrade into the mechanic, it now, thus, complete the developer's and / or manager's original NTC concept by putting a buff on a ship by reset.

Even if you (WG) put the resource in daily challenge missions, the core mechanic is still the same. No matter how you change the words or spin the story.

 

The scam:

Once you agreed to reset your hard earned tech tree lines, WG will sell all those ships and compensate you 50% of it's original price.

Once the line has been resetted, you will start the regrind from T1, while RP tokens starts at T5. Another 50% scam.

And finally, to acquire the RP tokens, you only need to play the re-grinded ship once (snowflake mechanic). Once RP token is acquired, you still need to play through the entire tier to get to the next tier and next RP token. That's only 1% return over your investment.

The whole thing is a scam.

 

Play Low Tier (Tier 2 to Tier 4):

And what is the point of populating low tier now since you (WG) allowed players to use FXP. That is literally skipping low tier.

And you (WG) have fixed the problem in patch (0.9.6) by adding :bots: into the game if the match maker can not assemble a full roster in a certain amount of time.

Play Low Tier. HA!

Campaigns do a better job of forcing players to play low tier, and get rewarded at the same time..

 

The Unpopular and Discrimination:

Giving away Research Points in "Daily Challenge" is nice, but it still does not make unpopular Naval Training Center (Research Bureau) popular now.

It also defeats the purpose of "reset your tech tree". Why should we "reset" our tech tree when we can slowly get research points without resetting.

 

Also, the developer and manager who made and approved this, still failed to face the fact that, players require to unlock five tier 10 ships in order for them to gain access to both the mechanic and the resource.

Not fully realizing that only players who has been playing for a long time can access this while new players are left out.

Don't they know how long it takes to play through T7 to T10? Not to mention with the new captain skills update, don't they know how long it takes to get to 21 points?

 

I have said it before and I'll say it again, What looks good on Call of Duty or other games, doesn't mean it will also look good on World of Warships.

It's as if the developers or their managers don't know the product they own or sell, let alone play the product they own or sell, and just copy, paste, & approve ideas from other game developers.

All for sort term gains. Not long term.

Could you allow the rts cv mode for CO against AI mode? This is will not make other players unhappy.

I bought Kaga, Zeppelin, and Indomitable becasue the rts cv game mode attacted me. But I found that interesting gaming mode is gone forever, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated.

So why can't you jsut bring back the rts cv mode for AI battle?

I thinks its great that friendly fire has been disabled but the system still doesn't have the ability to distinguish between accidental and deliberate damage of friendly ships, for example I was helping a battleship out who was going close quarters with another battleship in my Minotaur I lobbed torps and 5 of the 6 hit, number 6 hit the friendly battleship and I incurred a penalty, now this wasn't deliberate but the system didn't recognize this as accidental, so with team dam disabled I guarantee I will suffer the same outcome....Why not just remove the penalty system altogether?
