Whether it may be on Asia or on NA or even any other region, you are still the same.
Whether it may be on the forums, Discord servers (official, sub-reddit), in-game or anywhere where your presense is there, you bring toxicity along with it.

I am fully aware that you main NA, but I do know you have played Asia before with your last battle being in 2019. But I do know for a fact that you do hope onto the Asia forums from time to time given the ruskus you caused on other people's threads.

I do not take credit of the images provided below, credit is due where credit is due. This is taken on the NA server.
LANGUAGE WARNING.

Now, why is such player allowed to roam? NA? Asia? Doesn't matter. Ones attitude doesn't change depending on the region they are in.
I understand the struggles of a CV player where they are quite potato as I have encountered loads of them in my games on Asia, but is the stuff above necessary?

It doesn't surprise me. There are toxic idiots in every game...

It does surprise me that this sort of language isn't penalised harder or the punishment made known.

In years gone by in other titles, this sort of thing wouldn't result in a chat ban but in an account ban (after repeat offences).

By making this sort of language and behaviour harshly dealt with, the conduct becomes less acceptable even in the circles where this player would roam.

The toxicity while still present would be less and I think generally the community culture would be better.

The warships community on NA (in particular) is this odd place where 'my freedom of speech' is somewhat protected, even where most western games wouldn't allow some of the stuff.

(Free speech does not mean free from repercussions).

Heh.... unlike the typical NA, he knows it's "could have", not "could of".

It should be legal to bonk the native speakers in the head whenever they butcher their own language:Smile_trollface:

I like the guy's (not petroleumbrain's) responses. I would be even less coherent against that kind of people though. Or just not responding at all.

Against petroleumbrain though, I would say "Bring back RTS CVs" to reply to him.

Nah, I'm not sure if he doesn't like it or can't be bothered but long, well written rebuttals that don't come down to his level always seemed to work wonders

Even thinking of replying to them is bothersome enough. I don't like thinking I am lazy :fish_aqua:

Did the chat system not **** out the swear words at that time? That sort of chat should/would have brought down the ban hammer tho' I dunno for how long.

I encountered this sort of garbage here on Asia server too. I guess he might have been a Russian player with the CCCP_ clan. I launched a full salvo of stealth torps from an Ostergotland. He had smoked up in his Brindisi and then turned full broadside into all 8 torps. The result is the chat screen you can see. The chat system here shows the swear words all blanked.

As for replying to these types, I find the simple approach of passive mocking to be quite effective.

I've not seen this player ever again on Asia.

The only thing that made sense was "your pp tiny".

Does that mean he had a very constricted flow?!? Ow! He needs to see a doctor!  😉

No. You can bypass the chat filters and each region iirc has their own chat filters settings.

I want to start by saying I am sorry you have run into this sort of behavior in-game. It's not okay, and it always disappoints me to see players treating one another this way. I am going to lock this thread and hide some of the posts because of excessive language in the screenshots and the "name and shame" rule.

However, the type of behavior seen in your screenshots is NOT acceptable on the forums or in-game. Please submit these screenshots to the respective CS, meaning whichever server you were playing on when you took the screenshots.

NA: https://na.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wows/help/
ASIA:
https://asia.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wows/

I will be unable to provide you with the outcome of any reports because that goes against our privacy rules. However, I can tell you that we uphold our game rules and we do not tolerate this sort of rule violations.

I am sorry again that you guys experienced this. Please PM me if there are any questions.
