It's not a Zuikaku-class carrier, it's Zuikaku, a Shoukaku-class carrier. Of the First Air Fleet, she was the last to be sunk, surviving until she was sacrificed at Operation Shou-Gou.

The rocket launchers she carried were 12cm AA rockets that were similar to the Type-3 shells that battleships fired. Interesting in theory, but not very effective.

The Last carrier Who participate in the opening of WWII which later sunk during Operation Sho-Go.. but still sortieng w/o aircraft its a very hard for a fleet carrier to engage in a battle.. it is like you are charging the enemy with a rifle w/o any bullet in it.
