Tutorial how 16'in 50 caliber Gun on BB was loaded and Firing on Iowa Class Battleship .

 

What do you guys think of it?

I'm thinking the Battleship movie was completely unrealistic. Looked cool, though.

 

Never watched a Battleship version of Iowa . It looks like it fires like AMX 50 100 when it spams on alien mothership.

I'm interested to see if there's a video on DD and CA guns in action, particularly manual-loaded guns because the shells are too heavy to be manually lifted and in such a small, cramped turret.

 

5" shells are easily lifted and loaded - the lengthy part is hoisting those shells up from the magazine. Larger shells, though, yeah.

Which is funny cause it was run by a couple of old folks and a few young men who has never lifted 16" caliber shells before.

Yeah. And considering how many people it takes to operate a turret, let alone a ship...wonder where they dug up all the manpower :v

They are still heavy!  Did enough ammunitioning/de-ammunitioning over the years to know that one painfully well!

in game we can alone control a huge ships and a lots of dam planes
