I may be just speculating or thingking too much, but if you don't have DoY and you got the creet before geting DoY, wouldn't RNG poop on you and still troll you by giving another DoY. Since you got the creet before you bought DoY. But that's not a bad thing either. If you Get Coal DoY and RNG creet gives you a DoY, compensation thing is enforced and gives you doubloons(?) as compensation.
