My idea about Carriers gameplay to make Carrier players have more interact with their planes.

Hey devs,

I hate CV, DD hate CV, Cruisers hate CV, BB hate CV, even CV player hate each other. So, I came up with this idea to improve CV. This was create using my imagination, it obviously need some balance adjustment, but what do you think about my idea? 

 Gameplay: 

  • All planes can change flight altitude by press “U” and “J”, there will be 3 altitude, High, Medium and Low. At High altitude, enemy AA will not fire, planes can still spot BB and CV but their air spotting range will ber decrease. At Medium altitude, planes can also spot Cruiser and DD, enemy AA will fire at this altitude, deal continuous damage like normal. At Low altitude, all planes speed will increase by 30% and enemy AA damage continuous is double, planes at low altitude can hide in smoke screen. 

  • All planes type can change the number of planes doing the attacking by rolling the mouse roller, roll up will increase the number of planes doing the attack and roll down will decrease it. The maximum planes doing the attack is the whole squadron and the minimum plane doing the attack is one plane. 

  • (Rocket Plane): Cannot attack at High altitude, attacking at Medium altitude will feel just like in the game, attacking at Low altitude decrease spread rate and improve rockets penetration by 50%. 

  • (Dive Bomber): Cannot attack at Low altitude, attacking at Medium altitude will feel just like in the game, attacking at High altitude will take longer time to aim and take longer time for the bombs to fall but the spread rate is decrease and improve bombs penetration by 50%.  

  • (Torpedo Bomber): Cannot attack at High altitude, attacking at Medium altitude will feel just like in the game, attacking at Low altitude will increase torpedoes range by 20%, attacking at Low altitude and half speed will increase torpedoes range by 50%. 

Consumable: 

  • Smoke planes (USA): Select a ship in your team, after the selection, your CV will launch 2 planes following that ship and lay a smoke screen in that ship path, smoke will generate in 1 minute, smoke will stay there for 50s. If not select a ship, the smoke planes will follow your squadron. Smoke plane can spot enemy ship like Fighter plane. 

  • Carrier Spotting planes (British): Select a spot in the map, after the selection, your CV will launch 2 planes, the planes will fly to that spot, after reaching the location, all ship in your team will have their max firing range increase by 25%. Those planes will stay there for 2 minutes. 

  • Radar planes (Germany): Select an enemy ship, an ally ship or a spot in the map, after the selection, your CV will launch 2 planes, after they reach the selected place, they will stay there for 30s and provide radar spotting for your team, radar range is 8km. If you don’t select anything, the planes will follow your squadron. 

  • Fire Control planes (Japan): Launch 2 planes, after those planes were launch, all ally ships in your team will have a small dot in their binoculars indicate enemy future place for them to shoot at, the dot will aim at their citadel if that ally ship is using AP and aim at the weakest place in their superstructure if that ally ship is using, HE/SAP and its location will change based on enemy speed, ally muzzle velocity and enemy angle of moving. Those planes will stay on the sky for 40s. 

AA Defend: 

  • Enemy planes will die immediately with only two flak explosion, AA fire at planes at Medium altitude will generate flak just like in the game, AA fire at planes at Low altitude will generate 3 more flaks explosion. AA in reinforcement zone will generate double flak explosion, continuous damage will increase like in the game. When DFAA is active, the amount of flak explosion will double and enemy plane will die by one flak. 

  • All ship will have a new “Manual Control AA” located at number “5”, when active, all armament will be locked at their current place, a new red crosshair will appear on the screen, all flak explosion will be located near the location where the red crosshair is point at. Number “5” will active for 20s and have 30s cooldown for DD, 40s for BB and 20s cooldown for Cruisers.
