Neustrashimy or Marceau for coal ship

Over the last week I experienced 3 battles with Neustry on my team and all resulted in a win, including a couple big turnarounds. 

I started to wonder if the ship is actually OP, hence worth the coal.

Should I buy Neustry instead of Marceau? Sadly it seems you cannot use coupon, so need to pay the full price. Is the ship worth the coal?

People forget neutrazimi is steel ship. To obtain you need constantly doing ranked. Anyone who have steel ship must be extremely good player.

 

Neutrazimi is not OP but have no weakness. Its basically have everything... But too mediocre.

 

The most OP non TECH TREE DD would be Smalland, and Black and Kidd and

But is getting to rank 1 about being a good individual player, or is it about consistency of getting other good players on your teams also?.

if you want to use discount coupon, you have to wait a little longer

you also forgot to add "getting good RNG on a good RNG day" no point playing rank if RNG isnt on ya side for the day.

A side-note: Neustrashimy was a steel ship. Now she (actually Russian ship, so 'he') has been made available in the armoury for coal.

Due to the previously restricted availability of Neustrashimy, the Coal price is significantly inflated:

• Neustrashimy 296,000;
• Z-44 228,000;
• Marceau 236,000.

Whilst it has many good features, it is DPM is restricted somewhat by the 2 twin gun turret in A-Y positions arrangement, the long torpedo reload time (2 minutes 5 seconds) and range (10km), and mediocre manoeuvrability.

I got Neustrashimy in a crate, and have only played one battle in it so far, but it seemed quite usable.  It has low torp and gun dpm, but most other aspects of it are good to excellent.  It has a huge heal, harder hitting torps than other Russian DD's, and 360° turrets with superb fire angles.  The idea is that it is very survivable, and that means it can get into fights other DD's may not be able to, and can outlast other DD's.

Overall, it has strengths you can work with, and is fairly unique.  Tier 9 is the golden tier for DD's, and there are stronger tier 9 DD's out there, but it is still a decent ship.

This has always been its thing.    Do damage when the opportunity arises,  once you take damage, smoke up, run and use the zombie heal then rinse and repeat.

I had enough coal to purchase the neu and the Flint, but decided to hold on until later ...... toward end of Dec maybe

Honestly, if your acnt had over 300 hundred ships, over 90 prem ships, over 90 prem days ..... you are OP and overloaded

I bet you not going to play all those shhhhiipps in 1 day. So it not going to hurt if extra prem ship now or later, while the time you wait and be patient to check and see that happening
