We have 2x USN, 3x ze Germans, 1x IJN, 1x Eu.

I am waiting for a decent RN or two, and a few powerful Russian (or Soviet era) ships. Some might say overly powerful.

Based on other players opinions, the USN 2x ships are both good, 2x of ze Germans are weak (new z44 wait and see reviews), the IJN doesn't even have torps so is a meh boat, and the Frieswiththat used to be great but now the gimmick smokescreen is just an invitation for enemy to blind fire into and kill you anyway, or use one of their 4 radar ships.

Seems weird that both USA ships are considered quite good, while everything else is quite passable, and both USN ships being removed from coal option, I guess they too good?.

Are we to see ROYAL NAVY and Soviets in there, maybe another IJN added soon?. Then there's other nations like France and Italy.

The one good thing about this purchase option is you can buy them with blood money....whoops I mean cash.

As a side note, when are the Italian containers going to be moved to 1k purchase option instead of stay at 6k coal per container?. TOO EXPENSIVE.

The prize for completing the Italian collection (in those crates) is a specialised/enhanced and very strong T10 Commander. I think 6k coal is fine for what you get. The other enhanced/special commanders in the armoury cost 175k coal.

The "chance" or gamble to get the set completed is too high though.

I spent 24k coal and got only doubles.

then another 24k coal and only doubles again!.

for nearly 50k coal I got to unlock ONE item...

That makes the collection way over 175k coal for a "special" Commander.

Marcus Pollus is being tested, so Italy has it covered.

I'd like to see MN and RN supercruisers. The MN has a 3x4 305 project and the RN has all kinds of projects.

Looking at it from a broader perspective, not just T9 coal/premium ships, there's Plymouth now, as well as Thunderer and DoY representing the RN front, Stalingrad, Neustrashimi, and formerly Smolensky for the Rooskies.

Since coal is easier to obtain than steel or cash (duh...), it's not surprising that the good coal ships get changed out quickly because they are so popular they unbalance the game by sheer numbers.

As for Z-44, go read Mouse's review. Lackluster ship, discount Benham. If you want a T9 torp spammer with 12 km fish, Yugumo seems like a straight up better option...

Z-44 just a German version of Yugumo with worse Torp, concealment, speed and maneuvering capability but give you better guns. WG even in their own word say this boat is for long range torpedo boating .. might be they had forget there is the IJN and Euro line , and then that AA

The torpedoes do less damage individually, but reload more rapidly. It's the concealment that breaks Z-44 if you ask me. No hydro and outspotted by many DDs that also outgun her, not fun.
