Armory

The following ships will become available with the release of the Update:

  • flag_Germany_18970d883c7758b53538983bd09premium_9ffc494df739f989c98f2dd3a4e40887IX Z-44, a Type 1936B destroyer, armed with two quintuple-tube torpedo launchers that reload their long-range torpedoes quickly. The ship excels at conducting torpedo attacks from a distance. Unlike the researchable German destroyers, Z-44 doesn't have access to the Hydroacoustic Search consumable. The ship is available for 228,000 Coal, as well as in bundles that are available in exchange for doubloons.
  • flag_United_Kingdom_c1f75d7cca85dc4b4820special_333a61069a325ba8314cbbae96c1a345X Plymouth, based on one of the draft designs that preceded the creation of the Edinburgh-class cruisers. The ship's distinctive features include sixteen 152 mm guns placed in four turrets. Like the researchable British light cruisers, she carries AP shells only. The ship is equipped with the Surveillance Radar, Smoke Generator, and Hydroacoustic Search consumables, but has a short firing range and weak armor. You can get her in exchange for 27,000 Steel.
  • flag_Russia_6ce701e1c2f2ac3909a68a0a7b23premium_9ffc494df739f989c98f2dd3a4e40887IX Neustrashimy, the first Soviet destroyer that was designed and built after World War II. She boasts one of the best concealment values at her tier, coupled with effective torpedo armament and a large HP pool. The destroyer has access to a wide range of consumables, including Specialized Repair Teams and Defensive AA Fire. You can get her in exchange for 296,000 Coal.
  • flag_USA_dd9fc06d19a8638f4077ab2fe200d22premium_1114542bcd311c388080eea3a4d54a7eVII Flint, an American cruiser with powerful artillery, good AA defenses, and high maneuverability. Twelve dual-purpose 127 mm guns with a high rate of fire that fire shells along arcing trajectories. Take shelter behind an island, then rain a barrage of shells down upon your enemies. Flint boasts decent torpedo armament and a favorable set of consumables: Smoke Generator with a long smoke dispersion time, Hydroacoustic Search, or Defensive AA Fire in one slot. You can get the ship for 168,000 Coal.
  • flag_United_Kingdom_c1f75d7cca85dc4b4820premium_1d0cabf1997104fd727039ab9c098192VII Duke of York is a renowned British battleship that played a crucial role in the sinking of the no-less-famous German warship, Scharnhorst. Duke of York carries HE shells that are notable for delivering increased damage and having higher armor-penetration capabilities. They can deal consistent damage to enemy battleships and cruisers, even at long ranges where AP rounds are less efficient. To successfully counter destroyers, Duke of York has access to Hydroacoustic Search—a rare consumable for this ship type. You can get the ship in exchange for 101,000 Coal.
  • flag_Russia_6ce701e1c2f2ac3909a68a0a7b23premium_1114542bcd311c388080eea3a4d54a7eVII Lazo, a Soviet Project 68 light cruiser, has large dimensions and carries a formidable main battery of twelve 152 mm guns. She's well suited to long-range engagements. She excels at exchanging fire over a distance of 20 km due to the trademark features of the Soviet artillery and the specific parameters of her Spotting Aircraft consumable. You can get her in exchange for 83,000 Coal.
  • flag_USA_dd9fc06d19a8638f4077ab2fe200d22premium_9ffc494df739f989c98f2dd3a4e40887V Hill is an American destroyer flotilla leader that was designed at the end of World War I. Her guns can be aimed quickly and she has comfortable torpedo launching angles, as well as decent AA defenses for her ship type and tier. You can get her for 38,000 Coal.

flag_USA_dd9fc06d19a8638f4077ab2fe200d22premium_1114542bcd311c388080eea3a4d54a7eVII Flint and flag_Russia_6ce701e1c2f2ac3909a68a0a7b23premium_9ffc494df739f989c98f2dd3a4e40887IX Neustrashimy were previously available for Steel—a valuable resource that's primarily earned in competitive game modes. We wouldn't like to diminish the value of those ships for their owners, which is why their prices are higher than the prices of other same-tier ships in Coal.

And WG is "nice" enough to remind everyone:

Starting from Update 0.10.1, the following ships will no longer be available: flag_USA_dd9fc06d19a8638f4077ab2fe200d22premium_1d0cabf1997104fd727039ab9c098192IX Georgia, flag_USA_dd9fc06d19a8638f4077ab2fe200d22premium_1114542bcd311c388080eea3a4d54a7eIX Alaska, flag_USA_dd9fc06d19a8638f4077ab2fe200d22premium_1d0cabf1997104fd727039ab9c098192VIII Massachusetts, flag_United_Kingdom_c1f75d7cca85dc4b4820special_fdb3e9eabba1009b1c4adb7b370a68a2X Thunderer, and flag_Europe_6c2bac10ec2bec5799e117af8aa6special_5d797363651721d76cdb3439cd23845bX Småland.
Georgia, Alaska, and Massachusetts will no longer be available to purchase in the Premium Shop.

WG says:

The ships have been taken out of the game due to a combination of their popularity and combat efficiency. In order to maintain the proper level of diversity in teams in terms of the ships they are made up of, these ships will no longer be available to obtain for an indefinite period of time, but may return in future.

We understand that accumulating resources for ships is a long process, which is why we wanted to warn you in advance, so that any interested players can still steer these ships into their Ports before Update 0.10.1 goes live in about 3 months' time.

Container

We've added containers from the "German Navy" and "Shipbuilding" collections, with each container available for 1,000 Coal. This presents a good opportunity to complete the two collections if you haven't done so already.

The reward for completing the sections and the entire "German Navy" collection is the ability to mount two flags and alternative camouflage patterns on German ships. The reward for completing the "Shipbuilding" collection is a Santa’s Big Gift container.

Z-44 is a Coal ship. I guessed right! Hug me!

Neutralshiny is 296k Coal? Nearly 300k! Thunderor is 240k! Small-length is 230-something thousands! Even if it is 269k, the ship is Tier Nine!

DoY is 101k Coal but Flint is 168k!

I know they were Steel but that's insane!

Took them more than the promised 6 months, but, eh, at this point, WG's words are hard to take seriously or easy to believe.

Well, Flint and Neutrashimy , yeah WG had a twisted logic for the pricing , its not like they are so so being wanted , actually seldom seen any of both , those people who want it already had it , and the reason they are removed simply is their ( lack of ) popularity , and yet price them even more, even higher so people are going to had even less incentive to buy the ship .. someone had some logic regarding  product marketing - let's made them sounds so much more precious so the dumb noobs will spent that extra coal to buy them

Also the next ships to be for Coal for 2022 will be a wild guess:

Scharnhorst

California

Ashitaka

Sims

Indianapolis (100% chance to be going coal soon)

Leningrad

Poi. (Yuudachi)

Tirp and Scharn are two, like, money makers that are German in this game (along with Graf Zep I guess). Don't think WG would make 2 of their most popular (IMO) German premiums into freemiums.

Graf Spee maybe... Z-39 maybe.. PEF maybe... Brandenburg maybe... Heck, even Odin...

Good point. :fish_book:

Profitable for those legal buyers and illegal buyers such as RMT-ers, botters (poorly scripted / mod using), and account sellers. :Smile_trollface:

Side note:

Notice that there is very few ARP Maya in the game, and tons of ARP Yamato in the game.

Apparently those botters, RMT-ers and account sellers know their customers way better than WG does. :Smile_trollface:

End of side note:

Nobody sane would buy the neutered dd. Not for steel and not in overpriced coal.

And as usual, the OP ships locked behind for double OPness.

What the Hell is Neutrashimy is so god-awful expensive with a godawful sub par performance. Should be at least 200k Coal or Less.

Now they finally put a Flint with a ungodly coal price but i understand it was once a Steel Bote...

Looks like Lazo is viable for my Narai in future.

I got DoY already...

Hill is ehh???

Z-44 should be viable in future for me.

Plymouth is ehh??

----------------

MY SUGGESTION :

Should had put PEF or WV 1941 as a Coal.

Were lacking some Tier 6 Botes.

Marcus Pollus WILL be for Coal, right WeeGee?

Say yes please?

GA and JB are out soon so they need a replacement, right? PM replaced JB so MP will replace GA, right? Right?

Marcus Pollus WILL be for Coal, right WeeGee?

PS. On that note, H-40A for Coal, please?

PPS. Austin is for Coal for sure at this point. I thought Plymouth is the replacement for Small-length, but Plym is Steel, so Austin very likely replacing Small-length.

So why is Flint more expensive than Duke of York?

Anyway, I'm gonna get that lewd-voiced vampire for sure.

Scharnhorst? No chance in hell WG will turn her into freemium.

Eugen on the other hand.....

I want her to be a T9 tech tree representing German CC line.

Note: No, not CC as content creator. CC as hull classification Battlecruiser. There is a huge difference between Large Cruiser (CB) and Battlecruiser (CC)

Would love to get a Flint but probably best to see how the captain skills rework goes first... would hate to just play that thing with the base range lol. :Smile_hiding:

They priced Flint and Neustrashima so that those that got the ships for steel wouldn't feel betrayed. I think it's a reasonable compromise.

Can't say I'll be sorry to see Mass, Alaska, Smaland, Thunderer, Georgia and the rest of that crew get pulled. With the exception of Smaland, they were just too dominant, by numbers if not OPness.

And I'm happy to see a German DD introduced for coal. Z-44 is my next coal spend, for sure. DDs as a whole are under-represented in that section.

H40A is pretty unique. Well, three turrets as opposed to the standard German 4. A bigger Gneisenau. At T9, there are H41 and H40B that fit the bill.

It depends entirely on what WG want to do.

Flint shouldn't be more than 150k, and Neustra shouldn't be more expensive than 250k. The ship is T9. It shouldn't be more expensive than a T10 Coal ship. Nearly 300k is absurd.

:fish_book:

At this point, all the tech tree ship ideas are now thrown off the roof.

Since WG more or less put them as premium ships rather than tech tree ships, and tech tree ships are more or less paper ships.

Flint I can go down 155k. 168k is unreasonable.

But, I agree with the T9 DD. Almost 300K is absurd for both a T9 and a unpopular ship.

The price is so over inflated and it opens room for more over-inflated ships in the future.

And this absurdness is what scares and bothers me.

It's probably the fault of folks like me who have hordes of coal, steel and FXP.

I spend mine sparingly at points like what will happen soon where I have to choose which ships to get with my FXP.

Because some folks horde it there's probably an 'average ____ stockpile' dataset somewhere and the higher it goes, the higher the prices.

Or it could be it used to be a steel ship so they can justify it's higher coal cost that way.
