Hey, start playing a bit and even before any real in depth insight , come on .. guys the new port is too dark, cannot even see the details , the server keep disconnecting even in port, and what is the point of a PTS if you do not allow the player to test out the new features, specifically the Ranked Battle ( qualifying round ) ... Dockyard, snowflakes, Campaign, American BB are really nothing new , the new ones really the Ranked Battle especially how Qualifying round would be like but hey what it keep black out the choice

And mostly too few players , if I play PTS, then I am off my main account , the reward for playing the PTS vs the time / reward one would play on live ID ( and all the event, the grind etc ) and this lack and limit of testing out new features will simply mea people are not playing PTS for reasons , and good reasons

PTS for new Ranked is useless cause you guys cannot get enough players around to actually play even a single round, the data is all useless when most are just bots

Updated feedback

 

I'm relatively new to public test, so my impressions could be biased due to lack of information, but:

1. Problems with displaying dockyard... the issue with endless loading still happens sometimes. Exiting and returning to the game sometimes fixes it.

2. Dockyard project... did manage to complete it, but it almost seems to be pushing you to buying more than the minimum 4  stages. That is not a nice feeling. If it is supposed to be a challenge of skill or persistence, then buying stages should not be required, although it is fine to offer it as an option. This leads to the next part of the issue.. the last set of combat missions for this project seemed to have a very limited time in which to complete them.

3. I did not see the new American battleships at all.  The tech tree help text suggests that these ships might become available in special events, but nothing indicated that it would be possible to play-test them. Perhaps I missed something, but that would suggest that better direction is needed. If they are not available for testing, then why does the poll shown above ask us about these ships?

4. Play test rewards... two issues. The first is that the play test rewards combat missions seemed to be time-locked, so I was only able to complete the unlocked missions. The other combat missions are locked until after the close of this phase of play-testing. How are we supposed to complete them? Also, when I try to claim rewards for the already completed play-testing combat missions on my main account, the wargaming rewards page says that no rewards are available at this time. If we are not supposed to claim rewards, then I would appreciate it if this feedback post introduction did not tell us to claim them, and just repeated the information provided in the public test instructions page that stated that the rewards would be available a few days after the end of "all phases". 

5. Snow flakes: We all like presents and rewards, but it seems that the system is not rewarding enough unless you play lots of different ships. Additionally, you need to have a large number of high-tier ships to get a good chance of obtaining the better rewards. Speaking for myself, I am a relatively new player who has focused only on US Battleships, with a few dips in other tech lines. I would appreciate it if I can obtain the best rewards by playing my favorite ships.

Both campaigns In Pursuit of Strasbourg and The Ships and Fates cannot be finished without having Texas on test server.

Texas is standing in for Strasbourg, the " Pursuit of Strasbourg " campaign can be completed without too much fuss, but the  ' Ships and Fates " campaign had too much tie in individual ships ( Texas on PTS  and will be Strasbourg on live ) this will simply drive too many people playing the same ship over and over for the grind , worsening the game itself and limiting the variety ... these campaign should be made possible to be play through with most others ships and only chime in with a single mission MAX per stage using specific ships and that also should not be mandatory

Where is the suppose to be there 0.9.11 Captain skill change ?? and all the change to AA detection, the change to many already in game ships regarding as already posted on Dev Blog

A little though regarding Ranked ...

1. Bronze league is T8 / T9 , but the qualifying match for advancing to Silver league is T9/T10 but since Random is already MM at +/- 2 Tier and people will take their T9 into qualifying instead of the T8 the whole concept of a challenge and a trial is not really much in effect , and even for the normal Ranked Bronze league game people will be taking their T9 ships into the game unless they had none or they simply do not had a T9 that work for them , it might be better to had Bronze Ranked to be matched at T8 only and then when qualifying it will be matched into Silver ( T9/T10 ) of course the MM should present equal quantity of challenging T8 in these Silver League T9/T10 game between the 2 sides

2. The same as point 1 above for Silver League , and it made little of a challenge when your daily normal Random for any T9 is already very much T9/T10

3. The save a Star still could be issues , whenever situation turn sour, already seen players ( usually BB and CB , Cruisers ) rushing for back lane camping, sniping so they can farm more damage and stay top of the team despite a defeat , this leave those fighting on the front a distinct disadvantaged .. the whole concept promote bad game play and selfish farming instead of team play and competitive team formation / group play. In fact it discourage people from doing the team play as its always these team play that require sacrifice in term of damage taken, being up front and open to danger, need to dodge, less chance to damage dealing and less to farm and then those who actually fight always come up never top of the tea while the back lane selfish farmer can ... and this will simply encourage further disconnection between the 2 group of players and simply ruin the whole team play Ranked should be seeing in competitive  play. drop the save  a star approach , this is competitive mode, so it should not be easy it should be challenging

My further though and suggestion for RANKED

 

- as suggested before I stick with it that the Bronze league should be T8 only, but further I suggest the Silver league to be T9/T10 and the Gold League to be T10 only ...

- again as prior suggested , I would suggest some change to the qualifying match to get into the next league , the player on bronze league should get matched into a Silver league game with their T9/T10 players but still in his / her T8 ship , thus making it a true challenge and the qualifying condition should be a victory, but a star should not be deducted if the said player die in battle after all if this suggestion go through , the said player is placed against specifically superior foe , a star should be deducted though for a defeat. BUT more on that , there should be clearly equal ( and only 1 per team ) match up between the 2 team, so team A would had its normal roster with 1 qualifying Bronze member and the same for team B opposing. The Silver league players who are matched into such qualifying game should be allowed a leniency upon defeat , so the defeated team should get a reduced defeat penalty upon score / credit / EXP etc etc .. while the victorious team should also get a ( less but still ) reduced amount of extra reward , that reflect the fact they are matched with and against inferior friend and foe  alike.

- For qualifying round , from bronze to silver the player must use a T8 sip and for silver to gold, the player should also be required to use a T9 ship

- I would got to suggest that within any Ranked game the number of players per tea should expand to min 8 vs 8 , but not more than 10 vs 10 , where on qualifying round it had to be fixed at 8 vs 8

- a Ranked season that allow games of 8vs 8 to 10 vs 10 should be allowed, this varies the game and giver variety to the competitive nature of it and  thus avoid always players adopt a single tactical play and all the season its the same
