Let's see...

Game is 90% PvP with very little PvE content, no story mode that one player can play by him/herself whatsoever, actual interesting game modes being temporary, teamplay being quite unsupported by the devs, devs being quite ignorant with players' feedback, not all new content being very interesting or attractive, gradually greedier monetization, etc.

 

What are you talking about?

of course it did, that is why new mode, map, and scenario is needed.....

basically lack of gameplay

 

but here is the biggest flaw of World of warship :

 

LACK OF COSTUMIZATION OF SHIP..... ultimate dreadnought have this feature

- the build in WoWs is straightforward.....

- removal of some module to create brand new ship like Thunderer

- putting unique upgrade behind research bureau...

 

last but not least, Permanen CUSTOM CAMO Pattern by yourself

 

WG need to learn from CODM. the Costumization of Gunsmith is so absurd

 

 

what we need to create more fun is easy :

Improved gameplay :

1. monthly scenario event.... like back in 2018...  key battle is good btw

2. more PvP mode with some scenario....

3. map that feels different... like athmosphere, height of wave etc.... player need to feel they are on different maps

 

sheepsmith (aka copy paste from admiral dreadnought) :

- you can mount different turret with pross and cons

- increase hull armor but you become snail or more prone to citadel but strong againts HE

- modified engine.... like bigger citadel but more speed

- etc........

- IMAGINE BB can run Radar in exchange of DCP!

 

the game itself is already unbalanced.... so SCREW IT...

My interest with WoWs dropped sharply after I finished the Epoch campaign.

Sure there is Key Battle, but I have run out of T9 ships that I like to have the Infernal perma camo on. So I might just take the side rewards & call it a day.

That being said, I'm also not sure if I'm going to play much for the side rewards from Hizen's dockyard. I might knock the snowflakes, and back to hiatus again.

And apparently, taking some fresh games in NA doesn't really invigorate my fading interest. It is same salt, different water.

Getting Ludendorff is the only primary goal that I still have. But even so, I might give up on that goal. Who the fudge did suggest that rename?

That's not WG. That's you. You play the same game ten thousand times, really, the amazing thing is you are still playing at all.

I think you have to accept your status a Player Emeritus. You still play, but you aren't really playing the same game as the less experienced players in the match, who, at various points, are busy grinding lines, levelling up captains, and chasing the latest mission goal or special event. The good news: it's all free from here on in. You enjoy the ships you have, and you take a birds eye view of it all.

I mean look at Flamu's latest vid,

I've never seen anything quite like it. His team evaporates, all the cruisers on both teams rush into the cap at the first instant, he's 150k up 7 minutes into the game and he still loses.

What do you do? You take it for what it is: a good story. That's all there is now, the moments, the the stories arising from time to time from an infinite permutation of random events.

The amount of rotation of clan battle>ranked battle>clan sprint>rank sprint is just endless  (now i just do clan battles/randoms)

this is correct, once u hit 10k battle, u pretty much unlocked most of the ships u want, and what is left is just eliminating boats over and over agai

Repetitive , sure but the core problem is more than that. Game lacks real  variety and considering that being a MOBA it practically discourage teamwork in a team play supposed to be.

I am bored that I wanted to play new Scenarios..

I rather go play Garrysmod or play newer games like i recently bought PC Building Simulator.

5.6k Battles and i am started to get bored of it.

I do feel that way while I was a meta-slave, grinding the most "balans" lines out there asap. But once I reach the end, it feels really bland along the way.

Which is why I currently just grind ships in a very slow way, just knocking off the first win bonuses then do whatever ship I feel like to, as long as I have things/ships to do I will never feel bored. And if I did feel bored, I took a hiatus and come back whenever I want to. I considered uninstalling the game during one of the long hiatuses, but then the nostalgia hits hard and I am still here. 

If WG is still focusing on PvP content, the game is bound to be repetitive for most of the players out there

Just take a break from WoWs. I have taken short breaks from the game before and have come back once I start missing the game.

Today I have managed to hit my goal of completing all of the Unique Upgrades missions, so whatever UUs are left are only obtainable in the RB. So I can afford to take it easy in the future, since I don't intend to reset a line without the bonus points offered every quarter.

I still have ships to grind and lines left to complete but there is no rush. I usually just complete the first win bonus of the day for those ships I am grinding, then play whatever I want or log off.

I stop to purchase any item becuase

Not worth for it 

and.... boring to grind exp only random which poison me

cp-op and old scenarios isn't help me either 

I rather spend for another which make me better than 2500 doubloons

May as well set up challenges for yourself to change things up a bit (just a bit), like my AP-only Hinden experiment. 

For example, HE-only Neptune/Mino or torp-only Gneis...

Yea I am getting that boring feeling  -  

When WG doesnt care about its own game and just focuses on Marketing exercises - its all short term results that they care about.

Key battle is a big grind for T9 cameo  = 60 battles at 5 k  = perhaps up to 20 hours of game play.

Played a random my flank lemming trained into cap / ran away / hide behind island  -  I was left all alone defending ; it was a steam roll , made as much Exp as a good game in Co-op.

will wait for snow flake and see if Marco Polo is a coal ship - and then decide if I stick around.

I'll keep playing for years... ... BUT...

The moment a proper next-gen MMORPG comes out with a certain quality and style Warships will become my side project. (Ashes of Creation is about the closest at this point).

I mean if WG fix and change enough things they'll keep me actively engaged but when they can't even create new scenarios... ... ...

Why would I dare to hope?

At this point i'm bored and just fed up with what we have on offer.

Sure the Dockyard and the missions are fine, but just grinding the same maps, same modes over and over isn't fun and becomes an ardous grind.

The things i would like to see are:

1. More maps. As one of my Clan members said "WG doesn't have to create high level detail as would be required in MMO games". A bunch of islands in an ocean cannot be that hard to come up with random designs?

2. Map Creator/ Editing tool. We have lots of creative and historical enthusiasts in the community, and if WG cannot find time to create maps, how about letting the enthusiasts have a go? IMO this is a missed opportunity and an untapped resouce that both WG, the Creator and the players could benefit from.

3. More Game Modes. For the love of God, please put Arms Race into Randoms. I would find it interesting to have Arms Race on an Epicenter map. Make players decide wether to keep a positional advantage by giving up a buff to the enemy which in turn makes the enemy harder to deal with. Wishful thinking in Team play in this game, but one can hope.

Yes. Agree.

The buffs will force them into staying close to the front line. The first iteration of the mode limited the range of which where players would receive buffs to 12 km, which forced ships to stay quite close to the buff points. Therefore, if they want to get the buffs, the must stay close and fight. WG removed this "range" in later versions (mainly because of CVs), but I want this limit back, so campers/snipers wouldn't get buffs because they stay far away. Even 15 km is good enough, it doesn't have to be 12.

The game needs some new modes to shake things up. I personally want Arms Race and some kind of Respawning mechanic (or TDM mode).

Starcraft 1/2 does it well, but because it's a game that limits the number of players in any game/battle to 12. In Co-op mode, it's 2, and Arcade maps it's mostly 1 to 6 players. It's 24 per Random battle in WoWS. I don't think an editor in WoWS would be a very efficient tool to develop. I don't even think WG would ever want to develop that kind of tool anyway.

It'd be better if it's contests, like WG have done before with camoflages, but for maps, modes and/or Operations.

well look at game now, long range island hugging gameplay..everyone just run to the back and just sit there for 20min..how is this not boring and repetitive
