G'day folks,

I'm at a decision point...

I am starting BLUF scripts this week, I need to know...

New York - Montana first or Kansas-Vermont?

Second option will likely be the other, then RM BBs after that.

When we finish those we'll work out what to do next... (I want to look at CA lines, USN perhaps, KM or RM...)

I suggest doing the fresh new line first. Because they are the new [fat] kid on the block.

Yeah see that was my thinking... There's pros and cons of both.

NY-Montana:

- Lower tier beginning, more variety and progression.

- Came first

- NY-Colorado provide a technical and knowledge base for Kansas.

- Stable and balanced

- I suspect not as 'crud' or 'underpowered' as people complain.

Kansas-Vermont:

- Only 3 of them, so quicker (I am expecting my first born at end of the year which is close, particularly if he's a premy). Also quicker;skill system rework inbound when?

- Newer, so more chance of folks being interested in a review that isn't just going to copy-paste floupie dribble. It also means evidence of more than 135 logic-driven players out there, lol.

- Newer, more chance of balance adjustments after the reveiw is completed. (My Hawkins review is not so current as she's basically had a buff per patch since, so I have to revisit her at some point).

...

...

So you see my dilemma!

To me, the NC - Monty now become an offshoot of the US BB branch. They are fast, they have accurate guns, unlike the "main" branch which are super slow, have long reload and not very accurate guns.

To be precise, Kans, Minnie and Vermint look like a bunch of high tier New Mex - super slow, many guns, poor sigma, slow reload, etc. The Vermint line being the main branch is my head canon now.

Yeah I think you should do the Kans - Vermint.

Or better yet, SC all the way to Vermint :Smile_trollface:

Yeah, I actually agree, do all of the dreadnought types first. New York to Vermont. And leave the three Fast BBs till later.

How about New York to Vermont instead? Because the new ships seem to be a further development of the slow dreadnoughts seen in New York to Colorado, while the faster BBs from North Carolina onwards seem to be the offshoot.

And WG seems to agree with you, because that is how they are positioned in the tech tree. The Montana line is the one that branches off the main branch now.

Tech tree preview mod keeps the NC, Io and Monty in their old places... :Smile_sad:

Yeah so.... That's a really good idea guys!!!!

I can stash all my Kansas footage and keep going while still working on NY.

I did think about it but on analysis, SC and Wyoming essentially match NY playstyle and have protected MM... Basically anything I go through on NY will apply to them and still be relevant.

I'm not a 'teach you how to play' channel but more of a 'you know how to do stuffs, here's some stuff aimed at you'

You know, the everyday veteran potato... 😉

Well for now, that's the plan, already started...

I don't have that many lines left to grind in game, lol.
