Welp.

This happened.

I didn't realise weekend events would bring "so many" tokens.

Some whaling, some grinding.

I haven't really looked up any reviews.

But after a few coops games, I can't help but wonder if she isn't a bit OP for T7?

EDIT: nevermind. Just got busted up bad by a bot Sinop.

Even if weekends would bring tokens, its not enough to complete the 20,000 tokes requirement to get Florida.

WG intentionally put her in a paywall.

Yeah I definitely whaled some like I said.

I just wouldn't have whaled as much.

Lesson learned.

Don't whale until 3rd week of the event. :Smile_hiding:

While reading North Carolina preliminaries, I think WG missed another opportunity (the first being soviet heavy cruisers) to make these ships "tech tree able".

Fast Battleship
T6 N. Carolina 'IV-C [9 - 357 mm (3 x 3)]
or
T6 N. Carolina 'VI-A [10 - 357 mm (2 x 2 and 3 x 2)]
T7 N. Carolina 'XVI-C (Florida)
T8 N. Carolina 'XVI-D
T9 Iowa
T10 Montana

Fat Battleship
T6 New Mexico
T7 Colorado
T8 Kansas
T9 Minnesota
T10 Vermont (Should have been R. Island)

Should have made more tech tree ships rather than premium ships.
And those tech tree ships would have been great for the bundle instead of camo and flags.
Besides if a premium becomes "too popular", WG will pull them out of the shop, with no certainty of when they will return.

I wonder if the weekend missions were planned as part of the event or added after the fact?

Either way I'm not going to get to 20k.

I must have missed something, but before you can get the Florida for 20,000 tokens, you have to first buy the previous 5 bundles for 25,000 tokens.  I have over 13k tokens so far.  How do you get to 45k tokens

How do you get Florida if not by just buying it?

Where can you get the extra tokens?

Lol, well that's not happening.  Just asking in case I missed something.  Apparently I didn't.

I sometimes fear I am a bad example.

I have great freedom when it comes to what I do and don't spend money on.

But you do you.

1 Corinthians 8:9, NASB: "But take care that this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak."

Don't get me wrong Max.  I can and do sometimes spend money on this game and i won't criticize any one who does.

Your comment about not realising the weekend events would bring so many tokens, and then some whaling, some grinding made me wonder if there was more to it.  That's all.

ps Max, always look forward to your comments : )

The bundles are consecutive, so Florida requires 3-4-5-6-7 and 20k for a total of 45,000 tokens, or 30,000 doubloons, or about $150 US minus whatever tokens you can get free, by my count less than 15,000.

Florida's cost in the premium shop will be about 10,000 doubloons, or $50.

So do I.

Thats why I spent over $1300 AUD this year on Star Wars LEGO models.

Usually I whale on video games (obviously) and make-up/skin care. Right now, I am whaling on my PC because I am having hardware issues, so I keep buying new hardware until the issue is fixed. I am down to the CPU and motherboard. :fish_panic:

Sometimes it's better to just buy an entire new PC. Depending on the age of your old PC.  I have had weird stability issues that stumped a few "experts" as well as myself.  "Expert" being the tech guy at the PC retailer.

A new Power supply fixed the issue. I now always buy top shelf PSU's with at least 200 watts headroom above recommended. My current PC has a Corsair AX860 in it. Sold and reliable power.

Have you already replaced the PSU Sail?

I spend on outdoors things, I've met all sorts of whales.....

About 4km off Fingal Bay, May 2019. Zero wind, 2m swells, heard them slapping well before we saw anything, then once we spotted them raced out to about 7km offshore to pick them up. Then had about 45min with them as they headed inshore a little bit, amazing morning.

Maybe 25 breaches, including one about 25m in front of the boat, and one where two breached side by side.

I'm just surprised. :cap_wander_2:

If you are using an intel CPU, and the CPU is broken, you can only buy the same generation of CPU if you want to keep the mobo (Motherboard).

If it is the mobo that is broken, you also can only get the same generation of mobo in order to keep your CPU.

Otherwise, just buy both new intel CPU and mobo. You might also need to buy new RAM if it's not compatible.

If you are using an AMD CPU and mobo, your machine is backwards compatible (to an extent).

66549579_AMDChart.thumb.jpg.7bd6e0c7476edcc8e3c3399a8f1402b3.jpg

Thus saving you hundreds of dollars in the process.

If you are not doing anything heavy with your machine (video encoding, 3d rendering) you don't need a expensive and high-end CPU and mobo.

Saving you hundreds (if not a thousand) dollars in the process.

Intel i5 or AMD ryzen 5 can do almost all daily tasks.

While high range, mid end mobo (Intel Z-series or AMD X-series)
or
mid range, high end mobo (Intel H-series or AMD B-series) will do the job and save you cost.
