Old Kaga can destroy almost anything with 12 TB with AS.

From what I have experienced going up agaist STs in their FDR, you have nothing to worry from its TB squadrons. 

Its torps are Midway torps, meaning they have bad damage individually and poor aiming time (as you can see in the video). So you should have no trouble dodging them as long as you are not completely stationary. Even the video shows that it can barely fit a BB inside its drop zone. A dodging BB can easily shrug off the damage from 1-2 torps because the damage is so low.

Its DBs though, can hit like a truck. Imo the DBs and rocket planes are what you should be wary about.
