Hey WG, how about release Pizza BBs first and save those snails you call "2nd US BB line" for after the pandemic? Like, who cares about those snails anyway? Even NA players don't like them.

Watching the stream, I can see no images so far, must have been a QnA or surprise announcement.

the Answers from last night's Q&A

1. Italian Battleships confirmed and are coming after the USN BB Split, Reveals soon on the Official Twitch stream.

2. More Game modes coming next year (Bastion Mode has been Mentioned!)

3. Halloween mode, although not explain much

4. Submarines will appear in later patch.

5. Operations will return next year (Good news!). Sea mines are being planned for German Destroyers.

6. WoWs is not going 1.0 yet.

7. Support-type Aircraft Carriers and Hybrids will be the main focus after Submarines.

8. New maps inbound, as well as occuring maps (Bering Sea/Convoys map.)

9. Post-war and Cold war ships are in development (Especially the ones with Missiles)

 

This is all i can list for the Q&A session, Mentioning @S0und_Theif in case i missed some Answers.

SEMI HIGH EXPLOSIVE AMMO! HE >> SHE

 

Italian BB feature SHE and SAP as ammo choice

the main feature of Italian BB is new consummable, "extra fire extinguisher" with 60 sec cooldown and 3 charge.... SEPARATED FROM DCP!

this allow Italian BB to Tank Fire damage.... THEY BOAST MASSIVE HP comparable to German BB

 

the drawback of Italian BB is they have no secondary, all secondary just AA suite.......

It would almost be a different game... what are they going to do? Make tiers beyond TX? If so, I wouldn’t be happy about going into battle in a TX to find I’m bottom tier...

However, if they made separate game modes for original and post WW2...

I know they want to add new things to the game, but they have to be careful about changing the original aspect of the game.

Yeah the rest of that list I'm 100% ok with, there's still at least 10-12 lines of ships that aren't stretching things too far and that's not even including IJN and USN CV splits...

12 is 3 years of content, we haven't even touched subs, etc yet...

I'm hoping cold war ships are way after all that or as a special operation or something

At the moment, I do not welcome modern warships at the game.

Seeming that there are still a lot of content missing in the game.

Such as CWoN and Pan-Am tech tree.

 

And I also fear that it may break the game if they add them as tier 11 onward. (Becoming War Thunder in the process)

 

At the same time, some parts of the game is not balanced.

Before WG jumps on making modern warships, WG should perfect the current warships and its content before jumping to modern warships and it's gameplay.

Crawl before you walk.

 

A separate game mode or separate tech tree is an option.

Modern warships in operation like submarines is also another option.

This can be solved in one fix: same tier MM only, for all tiers.

But this is the same broken mechanic that put WW1 ships which are in their hypothetical refit against the early WW2 ships, solely because "why not? they get better earning for attacking higher tier ships!".

I mean seriously, this is not 2015 anymore. We've got bigger playerbase since then. Although the lack of players in queue still occurs regularly at certain hours, WG manages to solve the issue on PT server & sub testing mode (both teams get equal amount of AI-controlled ships when there are not enough players).

Same tier MM with bots to fill spaces.

Not sure about that one and people complaining about blowouts. With fewer humans any difference in skill level will be highly visible, especially if the bots have the same sort of "damn the torpedoes" approach as in co-op. And if you have people in a CV/DD knowing which players are human and thus priority targets...... might need fog of war mechanic where you don't know enemy bots or humans.
