I once lost 4 Karma (all I had) after a single co-op battle in my Kurfurst. 6 kills and over 900 base xp. I run full manual secondary for co-op. I also make a point to never get between a DD and his target, but that doesn't mean I won't select his target for my secondaries to focus on. (I hate it when a BB or CA charges in and blocks my torp drops - forcing me to hold fire because I don't deliberately torp a "friendly" unless severely provoked). BUT, Wargaming have chosen to use it as a hidden balancer for Russian ships. MAKRA is actually working as intended. The hidden stats for MAKRA makes it harder for planes to spot you, lets you detect torpedoes at a greater range and tightens up your dispersion at over 15km. Now, knowing that people hate Russian biaz and will therefore be downvoted the most often, they KNOW that Russian mains' MAKRA will remain low or non existant. People who DON'T play Russian ships will more often have higher MAKRA and will enjoy the hidden benefits of more accurate secondaries, a deeper voice and be far more likely to attract mates thus passing on their MAKRA friendly genes to the next generation of whales. Hmmmm, that is indeed true. Play any other class (Not CV)/nations and do well in it and your Karma will go up.
