had a sudden bout of nostalgia after seeing a meme about gundams on my feed when playing wows, so i went and tried to find some old songs from the OGs of mech anime.

well, i found it.

 

The music/theme/tempo goes so damn well with the series, the OPs are really kickass and some of the ED's melancholy themes almost brought me to tears 

hot damn, the nostalgia hits like truck-kun trying to isekai me, I feel so much like a kid againwatching this stuff 

 

must be the sleep depravation getting to me, time to hit the sack

I tend to get into the whole theme thing sometimes, so if I play Vladivostok for example I might listen to Mumiy Troll's song about Vladi

 

or Maybe something super stereotypical for Moskva 😂 like this one titled "Moskva" by Oleg Gazmanov

 

I'm not sure I necessarily do that well when I listen to them but it's fun. Otherwise there are plenty of Orchestral scores that work really well, on the topic of Gundam, Hiroyuki Sawano did some amazing stuff for Unicorn, there are some really intense tracks.
