wish i'd known before i bought this awful ship.

CONS

8km torpedoes - this in competitive matches (random and ranked) is crazy because you're up against radar, aircraft spotting, ultrasound finder and 'located' skill.

SLOW torpedo reload at 1minute44seconds (this is also insane considering you have to get close to shoot torpedoes)

ONLY 2x4 torpedoes for a premium T8 not good enough for competitive play

below average AA (i think it's the worst AA in the game)

slow (must use speed boost)

6km concealment

I can't say exactly I'm sympathetic since there are package inserts informing you what the ship comes with and you can make a comparison against other ships and against your playstyle to decide if the ship is for you...

To be honest, this ship is not even new. There are a lot of reviews you can look for on the internet before you buy.

The best method to find out whether the premium ship is good or not (if you're a lazy neet that don't browse the web); is by looking at how often you see them in battles.

• Mainz, Massachusetts, Jean Bart for example; you can see at least one of them in certain tier in like 9 out of 10 battles
• This ship? I've seen more Oland sailing around despite being a newer ship.

Ehhh, I don't think this matters much for you to be honest as you mainly play in coop. There are better tech-tree ships out of there if you wish to play "competively" in ships that can actually carry their weight
Do your research first before buying any premiums, there are quite alot of reviews out there.

Unless you are an AL fan yourself and bought it just because of it, then oh well, its on you

AL Yukikaze is basically a Kagerou with Shimakaze's 8km torps. Apart from the torp range, everything listed can be applied to the Kagerou. So the real question boils down to whether you think Shima's F3 torps are worth using or not.

Besides, AL Yukikaze was first released in the previous AL collaboration, so information on its stats and performance isn't hard to find. If you ran out to buy the ship without any prior research just because you are an AL fan, then that is your own problem.
