Not even out a week.

Pommy sigma from 1.6 to 1.5

Erich Loewenhardt (tier 6 german premium cv) DB attack time reduced from 5 seconds to 4 seconds.

*Still in test, but likely to be added to game.

I found out yesterday my german cv E.L. could not attack a ranger who had parked between islands in the straight map (any map where they park between islands) because the aiming and attack run of these "genius, brilliant, unique" german cv planes is different to EVERY OTHER NATION, particularly the rocket planes who WG sell as the great feature of the german CV line.

THAT's a problem.

Perhaps it fixes from tier 8 up, idk.

But there IS a tier 6 premium cv where its stupid.

Erm, I don't do maths but is that a buff?

I'm not a BB main, but doesnt the reduction sigma mean an increase?.

Same with EL cv DB aim time, the reduction SHOULD mean a buff.

Think it was nerfed from 1.6 to 1.5 in testing.

The greater the sigma, the tighter the shot grouping is.

The lesser the sigma, the shot grouping spreads more.

Also have to consider if the guns fire at high arc or flat trajectory.

Soviet BB have flat trajectory. Thats why they are effective at 12 km.
While German BB have a slightly floatier trajectory. That's why they are most effective at 8 km. But 12 km is ok.

Well, technically, if you're really bad at aiming then lower sigma could be considered a buff.

Aren't these nerfs not buffs?

Reduced sigma means shell groups are less tight.

Unless their diving speed was increased to compensate, reduced DB attack time means you actually have less time to aim your planes.

Why ruin a good old rant with something as silly and pointless as facts? :Smile-_tongue:

I completely agree that they didn't need to be nerfed.

It is not like they would have been OP if they had stayed as they were.

I however didn't get to test any of these 2 ships as I'm not a tester and WG will do WG things to German ships regardless.

I know it is likely just a series of unfortunate events that has meant so many German ships begin heavily nerfed in recent times, but it is really starting to stack up now.

Please WG show the German navy some love. In spite of recent buffs to HE pen and the like, quite a few ships feel pretty badly powercrept.
