The FAQ
1.What is this mod about ?
It's a visual mod, that changed the ship skin to anime style. Most of the ship in game based entirely on Azur lane, but there is a few exception like Yamato and other in the future 
2.What are the exception ?
Fanart, since as of now there is no official Azur lane ship that are at tier X in World of warship, but there a quite a number of fanart of the ship out there that are as good as the design in Azur lane, those will also be included in this mod 
3.Why are there skin in the mod that are not same as the ship that are represented in the game (Bache in Fletcher) ?
Well, some ship had better or more fitting color for example Fletcher-class depict in Azur lane are hard to implement without changing the color to either darker or lighter, while Bache color are already very good and can be mod straight into the game. Or Atlanta which had a pink color that are very hard to mod into the game, so I change it to Reno which it's Objectively easier to mod 
4.Which faction that are already available ?
Currently there are Eagle Union (90%), Sakura (70%-80%), Ironblood (60%-70%),RN(5%)
5.Will I continue modding ?
Hard to say, I will still Maintence the mod but making new ship will be quite hard, since next year will be quite a busy year for me, That being said I will try my best to make Royal Navy while I still had free time
6.What are the mod name ?
RoTFS acronym for Romance of the five sea (a small series of mine)
7.Why your english sound so funny ?
Well, I'm not an english native speaker so there will be part that may confuse when I'm writing these so if you saw something confuse you, just ask
8.There is something strange about equipment of the ships in the preview of Sakura video
If you had good eye, you would spot that these are actually from other mod like Pravda team, . . . Well the reason is because back when I start making this mod, I was just planning to do it for myself, so i never planning on a full conversion modding but well here I'am posting the whole mod. 
9.Why does the mod weight 16GB ?
It's because these anime girl are so thicc they make these ship file heavier than normal. Joke aside, that was actually the case

 This is Yuudachi with 16384x16384 pixel texture 
 with near max zoom you could even see the drawing line of the image

  This is Cooper with 12288x12288 pixel  This is Akatsuki with 4096x2048 pixel 

Also the 16384x16384 pixel is the maximum allowed by Wows game engine so I cannot make it bigger
and that is the reason why the mod weight 16GB since now every ship after the discover of "16384x16384 pixel" , I mod most of the ships with 16384x16384 pixel, but not all with certain ships used different size such as 12288 and 8192 alot in destroyer and some Sakura BB and CV

10.Do I planned on upscaling older texture ?
Yes, But Now I just dont had the time, but I will work on it after finishing other ship. 
11.Art style
Well you can skip this if you want, it's kinda like FAQ for people questioning my artistic choice. First of all my mod is totally different from your usual Anime ship mod. most of the modder see ship as a board to place the Character of that ship or other character on to the ship, I treat the ship and the character as the same entity, you could understand that it kinda like Arpeggio of Blue Steel so there is no ship that had anime girl picture cover the entire ship. And these girl to me are the pride of these Navy so there will be no overtly lewd ship, there is lewd but not on the level of R-18

As of now there are 75 ships in the mod, but they are mostly in A hull or partially modded B hull so the total number of ship that had been modded for All of the hull is approximate 4-5 ships. And since this mod is made entirely by 1 person, so I might not dishing out new modded ship like other mod, so please wait patiently as I'm literally working around the clock in my free time to mod this all for you guys.

Since there is Atago B aka Atago Black so I Think I will add another Takao class, I think it's will be Choukai since I like the Uniformity of the Takao class design and Maya Azur lane had some what radical different design than other sister ship so I would go with Choukai.

Just some teasing, since I didnt read the news, so I didnt know about the tier IX sprint rank but well now that I did, I think it bad that if everyone would had to wait until the end of the month to get my mod which would included the Musashi. So I decide to make a patch which will include all the ship that I had mod after the upload of this mod (August 13). The patch should be available earliest no more than 2 day from now,it should be available by tomorrow but in case my eyes problem came back so yeah

Some progress update - just finish 3 more Royal Navy ship

So we came to the nitty gritty that call update change log, so what happen during the patch in rank battle and after that ? 
Changelog of version 1.01 - 9/5/2020
99% of Sakura empire equipment had been modded, so no more ship with a sudden gray spot, all equipment had been modded to match the color of white/red of the Sakura Empire

King George V, this ship is actually the quintessential to the Royal navy in this mod, because all of the design of later ship are all derived from her (and her role in the series Romance of The Five sea are already some what main character already)

 Miss Mighty Hood, Hood was actually Hard to design, because of her original design was dark blue which it's basically the theme of the Eagle Union ships so designing her really took time in order to stay true to the color of her design but also not so much so that it's basically blend into the ships of the Eagle Union 
before modding her I actually came up with a few design to mitigate the issue of look too much like the Eagle Union, one that almost made it the final was this one

But
Frankly I dont like it, because the tower was too dark and the glow wire that wrapped around her, make the hull so much separated from the bride that it make the ship look like it getting cut in half so I decide to change it to the design which the image above show.




and omg she is so long it's so also really hard to took a picture of her

The special case of the King George V sister, Duke of York
  
Her color are like no one else in the Royal Navy, because her main color is red it's literally goes against the main theme color of the Royal Navy which it's Azure/white. But for some peculiar reason her color match up with the Azure of the bridge perfectly so what I thought would be grueling designing process turn out rather easy

 One of the most requested thing in this mod had  been implemented, a smaller version of this mod, the standard version of this mod it's 17 GB but now reduced to 13Gb because I change the texture file from 16384 pixel to 12288 pixel. 
The second most requested thing in this mod is to change the glow of the ship, well it's now also had been implemented and available in both standard and small version

 Aside from that, like I said in FAQ number 5, my school year just started so now instead of spending 12-16 hour everyday on modding skin, my time well had shrunken to only 1 hour at max spending on modding, which meant the number of new ship that I can pump out will be affected significantly so, I will enter the maintenance mode with this mod, technically what happen is that I will still making new ship but only 1 - 2 ship per mod update and prioritize maintenance of this mod over creating new content. The situation should last until june-july next year if COVID-19 doesnt strike my nation again which will lengthen the time that I would need to spend on school.

So emergency annoucement i guess, technically it's not that but well since with the introduction with Kii which it's the actual Kii ship it's self and not Suruga, It's kinda problematic for me since I can't really just goes and make Kii a new skin since I dont had time It would probably be 3-4 month from now where I can mod Kii into the game.

Second thing that is sadly 😞 dishwasher1910  design of Shinano didnt make it into the game, I kinda guess it would happen but it still really pain me because dishwasher1910 design really match well with the ships color that are used to mod, and with this revelation I think that Yamato, Iowa and Montana and other major tier X ships will follow suit in the game in later years. Any way as a modder responsibility well if Azur Lane gonna add different design to Azur Lane, I will mod it into the game aswell but that doesnt mean that I gave up on dishwasher1910 since I will be making a different version of the game (jezz now I had like 4 version of my mod 😞  )

These are actually low tier ships so they are easy to make so it's not really a violation of FAQ number 5, the FAQ are usually for ship that are tier 6 and above but some times also applied to low tier like Iron duke
