Hololive Promo Event Doesn't Work

Hi Wargaming,

 

I would like to report that the promo Event "Hololive" is not working. The mentioned article is in this link: https://worldofwarships.asia/en/news/general-news/hololive_commanders/

All instruction had been followed correctly.

 

• I need to download the DMM Game Player and then create a new account. Here is the screen shot of my new account logged on to the DMM Game Player. As seen in the screenshot, the World of Warships Client was downloaded, and ready to launch.

The writings on the orange button is: ダウンロード版でプレイ. In latin: Daunrōdo-ban de purei. Translation: Play the Downloaded Version.

 

• Upon launching the game, there is a message error that presented in the following screenshot:

I choose "Yes" to continue running the script and see what will happen next.

 

• There we go, lets launch the game:

The writings on the orange button is: プレイ. In latin: Purei. Translation: Play.

 

• After the game is completely loaded, this is the message I get:

The message is: まずは DMM アカウントをリンクする必要があります。DMM アカウントのリンク用ページへリダイレクトされます。

In latin: Mazuwa DMM akaunto o rinku suru hitsuyō ga arimasu. DMM akaunto no rinku-yō pēji e ridairekuto sa remasu. 

Translation: First you need to link your DMM account. You will be redirected to the link page for your DMM account.

 

• After click "Ok", I was directed to this page in my browser:

From this point, I start to get confused.

Questions popping on my head. I believe to post in the forum is better than asking the support (which I don't know what language should I write; should I write in Japanese or English?). Here are the following questions:

1. If the requirement to get the reward is create a new DMM Account, why should it is necessary to create a new Wargaming Account too?
2. If the purpose at the end is to link a Wargaming Account to a [new] DMM Account, why should it is necessary to create a new Wargaming Account again?
3. If the purpose is only to link  a Wargaming Account to a [new] DMM Account, isn't that mean I just can link my existing Wargaming Account to the new created DMM Account?

Ok, I choose a path in the dark assuming that I might need to link my existing Wargaming Account to the new DMM Account. So, I choose "Continue as Robby_Hermanto"

 

• After click on Continue as Robby_Hermanto, the link direct me to this page (again):

At this point, the conclusion of the progress is "halted at step 2". The game won't let me in although I do login with a new DMM Account. Step 3 is not possible to be done although the requirement in the previous step had been completed. 

And then, requests are coming up:

1. If linking a Wargaming Account to a [new] DMM Account is mandatory, please include the information in the instruction steps. 
2. Please specify the instruction: Do Players needs to create only a new DMM Account or do Players needs to create both new DMM Account and new Wargaming Account?
3. Please specify the instruction: How to link a Wargaming Account to a new DMM Account.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated. You can talk to me in English, Japanese, Mandarin, or Bahasa Indonesia. Thank you for the kind support.

the promo is only for new DMM accounts, you get the captains if you sign up with DMM on the account you signed up on, you cant link it to your existing account

in other words, unless you want to reroll a new account with DMM then your only option to get those hololive captions is in the prem shop

1. I did sign up with a NEW DMM account.

2. Although already login with the new DMM account, it won't login. The message says: First you need to link your DMM account. You will be redirected to the link page for your DMM account.

3. After re-directed to the Account Management Page, there is no option whatsoever to link the account.

the account the paged linked you to is your account now, the WG one, not the DMM one

try logging out on your browser before retrying it

I tried your suggestion.

I logged out all account from the Wargaming; both in the website and from the Wargaming game center. Even shut off the Wargaming Game Center.

 

After that, I login to the DMM Game Player (with my new DMM Account of course), and then re launch the game from the DMM Game player. This is the screen I get when the game is loaded completely:

I click "OK" to follow the link.

 

Next, it direct me to create a new Wargaming Account!

And... wait...! What is that? IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT, YOU CAN LINK YOUR DMM GAMES TO YOUR ACCOUNT AFTER LOGIN.

So the instruction is just getting around circling nowhere. From the path it is seem the system wants to have both: a New DMM Account and a New Wargaming Account linked together.

But at the end, it still the same: They need to be linked.

HOW TO LINK THOSE ACCOUNTS?

So the conclusion is:

1. When you already logged in to Wargaming Account, there is no way to link those account.
2. When you are not logged in to Wargaming Account, it asks you to make a new Wargaming Account. Then, it asks you (again) to link the accounts which lead to the Wargaming Account Management page where there is no feature to link those. Same situation at Point No. 1.

Anyway... nevermind lets make a new Wargaming Account. I am still curious although it chunk off my sanity overtime.

So, I put a new name for the Wargaming account: Robby_Hermanto_JP. Click on the orange button "アカウント作成" which means "Create Account". Guess what? It directs me back to this page:

 

When I click "Play!", it ask me to download the "DMM Game Player" again (Which I already complete this step previously):

To link, you just have to log in to the WG website using your newly created DMM account. So it is a completely new WG account created under DMM

My new DMM Account use exactly the same email and password as the Wargaming Account.

IDK if using the same emails would affect anything, but you can try logging in to WG using your DMM account and see what it says after that

It should because that's how players can get their rewards for participating on the PT (Public Test) server. PT accounts are separated from normal accounts.

dmm doesnt like outsider messing with their jp player so they ban outsider ip and wg did mention it that it will be on sale soon

so one solution for this : money. buy it. u aint gonna take that freebies anyway.😀

I think the same way as you. So I follow the instructions. I created new Wargaming account. It still coming back again to dg.worldofwarships.asia

Guys, I do understand very well that to be eligible to get these commanders, WG wants a fresh new created account. I am not trying to get those rewards into my existing old account.

I am trying start an all new fresh account. It just somehow what (maybe I am too noob with these IT things), the system won't let me get the proper way it suppose to.
