iNCREASED CAPT. SKILL POINTS FROM 7 TO 11: NOW WHAT???

i SPENT nearly 15 gold star(?) points and nearly the same amount of credits(?) to increase capt. skill point from 7 to 11...so I thought... I thought I could add additional skills to this cat. but nothing has changed...still says cost 3 required 2 for many items.

 

any ideas what I am doing wrong again?

Do you see the number on the bottom right of your captains photo? The 1/11?  That 1 is the point you have free to spend on a skill. You need 3 points to pick from the third row.

 

You gave already spent 4 points on the first row, and 6 points on the second row.

and as for the pic, you have 1/11 points, which mean that you have you have 1 spare point to spend for your captain skills

But I don't understand, but I will follow your link.......I had 7. The thing said I could go from 7 to 11 and I spent some credit, money what have you and....do i ever get anything for spending that?

 

It isnt a rant and I am not embarrassed if I dont understand it. YES I am misunderstanding the %%^#$@# system...

Captain skill system while we're at it:

The 1/11: the "1" is the number of skill points you have left unused, "11" is the maximum number of skill points your captain has reached a.k.a. his current level.

You MUST spend points on at least one Tier 1 skill to access Tier 2 skills. To access Tier 3 skills you MUST spend points on at least one Tier 2 skill, and so on.

Tier 1 skills cost 1 skill point each. Tier 2 skills cost 2 skill points each, and so on.

YES, but I spent those days and days ago. I laid down some money/credits/XP and got nothing for it? Will I somehow get something for what I just paid for?

Also, please keep in mind that the game only grants you 19 captain skill points.

Choose your next skills carefully before you commit.

 

Occationally, WG will give a "free captain respecification".

Which means you can reset your captain skill for free. Do keep an eye on the game updates.
