Maybe because he got reported by the Anti CV Brigades due to his "radical idea" regarding to CV. I mean I have the hunch tthat Discord channel has a huge chunk of players from NA.

I just signed up to the channel, and yes NA & EU players are the majority.

I just joined there, but it's pretty bare and boring imo

unlike all the other wows discord servers I'm in that has plenty of weebs

also I've yet to try talking about CVs there

Not sitting there every moment following every thread and conversation made me mute it.

I probably prefer the little chats we have in AN-DO and Social Wolves discord.

And plenty of nice people post announcements and news here in the forum.

And it wasn’t WoWS.

It was my Dungeon Master’s.

I’m branching out and using Discord for other games.

Hey a friend who has run many of the pen and paper RPGs I have played (D&D, Pathfinder, Rolemaster, Spacemaster, various 40k games) is trying to get us all set up with something called Roll d20

Any experience?

It's not just the corona virus.

He is working in Singapore at the moment.

I much prefer the structure of the forums - more conducive for discussions.

Yeah.

I alt tabbed to it a few times while playing, but it all flies past too fast and I found myself SMH at so much stuff anyway.

the racism thing was eh, I kinda deserved that one since I slipped up and typed something that I shouldn't.

as for discussing moderation, there was a 48% shitter who was bullshitting about the KOTS meta to at least 6 people who have played in KOTS, 2 KOTS casters and a bunch of guys who I recognize as purple clan members, they proceeded to bash him, which got them chatbanned

then they PM'd me to ask me to tell the others they wont be able to talk for a day

I posted a screenshot of the PM

and then the mods chat banned me for "discussing moderation"

Yeah, one of the other groups I play with started using it a couple weeks ago when all this blew up. We’re still in the ‘learning how it works’ stage (which would help if I did the tutorial...).

It seems to work well enough so far. Usually we voice chat over discord and text chat and dice rolls in Roll D20.

And the maps and character icons and everything work well enough when the DM knows how to set up and use them.

But like I said, still early days.

In six months, everyone in the world will be experts at using online social media.

Also, I noticed how there's nobody from Asia in the WoWS Team in that server at all. 

Goes to show how the devs take no notice of our server at all, huh?

Asia WoWs team is mainly Japanese AFAIK

and Its outside  of EN speakers bubble. same with Chinese
