What happens to Puerto Rico if you don’t complete it?

Ok, so, unless you put in a bunch of time and/or money (not b***** likely), there will be a lot of people with an incomplete Puerto Rico in the dockyard at the end of the event.

So what happens to the uncompleted ship?

Well, there have been many ships built in the past which have never been completed. Some get converted into other ships, though others get scrapped.

So yes, Puerto Rico will be scrapped, therefore, logically, we should all get the steel (or credit) value of the scrap.

Yep. Incomplete ship gets scrapped, doesn’t make sense to just disappear, all that metal needs to go somewhere, so we should all get steel based on how far along in the build we are.

Completely Logical and even Historical.

Oh yes! Why I didn't think about this in the first place? This should be a good compensation for those who probably don't have much time to complete it.

so even ship gone, it's not considered as waste effort.

I don't like the idea of god-tier grinding but I HAVE to be fair to WG at this point.

IF you buy premium booster and still won't complete it, you can ask for refund (there's vid about this on YouTube so, check it out)

To me it is wasted work. The trinkets you collect on the way are meaningless to me since I can get them easily via other means. PLUS you actually have to spend those trinkets to grind for the ship. Essentially, net sum zero. You essentially burn time, a more precious commodity that you cannot get back. Unless you burn more money.

It will be scrapped incomplete, & its engines used to power some more DDs or other high tier premium paper ships... Then they will put behind some sort of doubloon/steel/coal/any other currency firewall, so that a whole heap of numpties can get excited & buy it..... Take them into battle, & then crash & burn because they won't know how to play them...
