Dual purpose socandary armament question

The Baltimore has 6 turrets with double 127mm cannons which double as both AA guns and secondary armament for the ship.

If you put AA  guns modification 2 on this ship will it increase these guns firing range against other ships as well as their AA capability because of them being dual purpose?

And again does the secondary battery modification 2 increase their AA capability as well as their firing range against ships?

I am expecting no to be the answer to this but still, it would make sense that both modifications would increase both stats.

and sorry if there is already a topic about this, i could not find any.

Not all secondary guns double as AA guns, so unless there was a third option that was limited to ships with dual-purpose secondaries it wouldn't make much sense for some.

there is a Commander skill that does that, and looking at this, would explain why
