RN CA line - A few questions

How is this gun able to shoot? The muzzle end of the gun is like entirely inside that gun shield thingy.

How does one even get the gun to rotate out? How tight would that squeeze be lol?

 

Was Surrey ever a completed ship? Isn't this only a planned (maybe ordered?) but never completed design?

The color of these 234 mm turrets bothers me... The turrets are usually the same color as the rest of the ship... This bothers me quite a bit. Trento and Zara also have this thing going for them, and that bothers me too lol

Both the RN & RM had financial issue at that time.... I'm surprised the Soviet ships look cleaner.

Color Contrast is so bad for turret and hull.

Well, if it was a planned but never completed ship, then the answer is simple.

The turret was designed as useless on purpose so that if the plan fell into enemy hands, it would be designed wrong, but the original designer would know to swap it for the correct design at the last minute. Its an old Da Vinci trick.

Of course, the reality is that any engineer who knows what he's doing would notice a problem like that and fix it. They never figured that in 90 years a game developer would be using said designs and make it as "historically accurate" as possible.

They couldn't even paint it right?

The turrets are made with some different steel than the rest of the ship?

 

Definitely someone in the Arts Dept. screwed up.

That means it’s stronger against things with low magic resistance right? Which boats have lowest magic resistance?

This problem gets fixed by firing the gun once.....
