WG staff in NA forums has stated that if they decide to add the pre-dreadnought one day, they can use the name of "Borodino 1904" to distinguish the two ships.

Though this can indeed solve a few problems (i.e. German premium cruiser Emden 1939), I still think it would be better to avoid this historical name from the beginning and adapt another appropriate name for this paper ship.

The whole year after the name is fine to use when you have two ships who had the same name. When you had two real life actual ships builds in steel.

When you have paper ships which could have been named anything by the time they were launched... Yeah, save the name for something the History Buffs will appreciate.

Adding numbers to distinguish ships of the same names feels ultra weird. It bothers me greatly.

I prefer the 1900 Tsushima Borodino than this fake Paper T8 Borodino. But the thing is that, there is also another Borodino in a Borodino.

I worry that a stock Izmail at T5 would be even more broken than Giulio Casare.

A similiar case with Kii would be a hypothetical modernized Imperistya (pardon the misspelling) Mariya perhaps?

Actually its good for T5 because They can challenge Giulio Cesare and/or Imperator Nikolai. Its Remedy. But again , it may be destroyed the T5 Brackets.

Malta may be somewhat different with the current British CVs as she is said to be developed from the Essex-class of the USN. Using De Havilland Mosquitoes as torpedo bombers would be rather interesting indeed.

Puting Malta Class in would be perfect. She was suppose to be the British Midway at T10. Audacious feels like a T9 rather than a T10

Mosquitos would do carpet bombing or drop the entire payload like cluster bombs. Play it right and you will drop several successful hits in 1 passby.

Possible hull upgrade to 1st gen jet fighters. Fewer attack aircraft, but their speed will offset their lack of numbers.

They had plans to add Jets during the CV Rework Question, its possible that Midway might get the F2H while Hakuryu gets the J9Y kikka, so formely once the Support CVs are teased.

 

For now they're still planning to do an Odd Tier Carriers soon, possibly a German CV line or a French CV Line.

German CV line: Ausonia conversion, a suitable project or conversion, Peter Strasser and we have to invent the top tier as the Europa conversion proved to be unviable.

French CV line: Bearn? Joffere? Jean Bart conversion? Some type of conventional CV study in the 1950s?
