I also remember that I have seen modders who reworked the Pan-American flag completely (discarding the "map" idea as a whole) and adapted another symbol presumed to be a symbol related to Real-world Pan-American or Latin American international organization.

I have forgotten most of the details, however personally speaking I think that is much better than the current one.

Spanish: Unión de Naciones Suramericanas, UNASUR;
Portuguese: União de Nações Sul-Americanas, UNASUL;
Dutch: Unie van Zuid-Amerikaanse Naties, UZAN
English: Union of South American Nation, USAN

This only represent nations in South America. Central America and Caribbean is not included. But it still looks cool.

Pan-America = Blue and White or Azur Blue and White
