so I remembered building some waterline models of some Japanese destroyers when I was younger.

mostly in the 1/700 scale... and went looking for them online again...

..... and seriously need a new keyboard.... this one is all sticky with saliva...:hiding:

its a heavy tilt to Japanese ships but I don' know if any other companies made 1/700 or 1/350 scale ships...

Tamiya even has a 1/350 Fletcher DD ! and loads of after market bits tooo .....

I have the Yamato and the Tirpitz in 1/350 scale.

Painting the Tirpitz was a bitch, that arctic camo is hard.

That link is the exact same Tirpitz I have except mine is 20 years old and dusty.

I'm from Malaysia and kits were hard to find.

When I was in Oz in the early 90s;

Kits were exactly the same price. Aus Dollar to My Ringgit; a model kit of the Leopard would be 39.90 RM in Malaysia And 39.90 in Australia...

Needless to say I paused my model kit building then...
