Just seen an Ohio in game and it got killed by chasing a Salem, which pretty much burned it down on its own. Now re-setting how many lines for that............... ok. Im guessing its been nerfed pretty bad. Anyone here planning on getting it?

not yet, but there was a rumor that WG shall take away 457 Conqueror, favor for Thunderer

So there will be two 4x2 457, 1 for Research point and 1 for . . . wait for announcement

Ohio and Thunderer will be in game tomorrow in 0.8.8. Ohio 62000 Research points and Thunderer 252000 coal. 

The 457mm guns as anticipated, will be removed from Conqueror. If they are researched you will get 35000 free XP. If purchased you will get 2.5 mill credits in compensation. If they are installed on Conqueror the 419mm guns will be installed for free even if they are not in your inventory. 

 

Darn it.  Just about got enough coal for Smolensk. Do I get Smolensk or save up a bit more for Thunderer………. Decision decisions...…….

T10 - Thunderer - 8 x 457 mm (18 in)
T10 - Kremlin and Slava - 9 x 457 mm (18 in)
T10 and T9 - Yamato and Musashi - 9 x 460 mm (18.1 in)
 

What we "might see" or "would like to see":
T9 - Temeraire - 6 x 457 mm (18 in) [Lion Hull]
T9 - "Number 13" - 8 x 460 mm (18.1 in) or 457 mm (18 in)
T10 - Libertie - 8 x 431 mm (17 in) [Richelieu or JB style ship with Republique guns]
T10 - "Unknown French BB" - ? x 451 mm (17.7 in) [French loves to make things differently]

T9 - Sovetskaya Rossiya, or Sovetskaya Belorussia 6 x 457 mm (18 in) [Sovetsky Soyuz hull]
[Sovetsky Soyuz is already OP, but if the developers drink too much vodka again, and talk about "alternate history", this is the byproduct]
 

Now that 457 mm is appearing in numbers, and Yamato's 460 mm is being somewhat overshadowed, should we start looking into the realm of 480mm (18.9 in)?
Only 2 ship comes into mind:
H Class (42 or 43) - 8 guns
A-150 [Super Yamato] - 6 guns
 

If these guns come alive, T7 and T8 will just be food.

I would welcome the removal of Furutaka's stock hull personally. The gun handling is just awful.

Also a 155-mm armed Mogami would only have a weak pre-war AA suite historically, though we do know that Wargaming might think differently.

I said gun modules, not hull modules...

Well, in case of Furrytaco, it's also the hull, but for Mogami, in game the guns and hulls are separate and independent entities.
