Did they nerf Last Stand in 8.7?

The Last Stand captain skill seems to do a lot less than before. I lost my engine in Clemson the other night and was left nearly dead in the water. It used to be about 50% loss of speed/maneuverability on a disabling hit with LS now it seems more like 90% loss.

maybe its a lower tier thing, its hilarious seeing flambass gets it countless time here.

I don't think so, it's depend of 'when' you losing your engine

last stand keep you engine 'power' at 50% not just speed.

if losing engine while in full speed, you ship still have momentum going forward and turn quite easily without any difficulty even engine dead

 

but if losing engine while sit still.... even with last stand, you'll have a hard time even start moving your ship

it'd take 50% longer to reach even 50% speed

 

from siting still position

if normally take 40sec to reach 35 knot

with last stand on and engine dead it'll be like .... take 60 sec to reach 17 knot

that why it look like dead in a water...

 

from full speed

if normally take 30 sec for ship to reduce from 35 to 0 knot

with last stand on and engine dead it'd take 45 sec  for ship to reduce from 35 to 17 knot

 

with last stand that keep engine 'power' at 50%, that mean 'speed bleeding' is less too

 

 

well......... THAT what's I think =w='a

If your dd dont have propullsion module equiped, and you break your engine the boat will slow down to a crawl.

Having it and not is big diffrence.especialy if you break your engine when stationary
