The price of Friesland is too different in ru and asia. We have eye so we notice the serious price discrimination.

Below is the picture of the price. This is really bad. I hope WG can notice this and tell us why??????????

I wonder if there is an error.  Maybe @GOMBEE8626 can clarify this?

Then EU and NA players should enrage too because is there a server cheaper than CIS?

They are river barges, not ships - they are transported back up the river to where they get loaded for another run. Pic looks good, but it doesn’t tell the real story

Yep. From the pricing of Friesland, NA is slightly more expensive than ASIA but only by a few cents, but the pricing on the RU server is mind-blowingly low.

But for the regular-priced items, the RU server is only cheaper by about $1-2 compared to ASIA but is on average $5 cheaper for high tier premiums than NA

I wonder what WG reason is? Why the difference?

But I am further curious if this also applies to individual countries / states / region across Asia server. Even location wise such as Perth or Sydney, Tokyo or Osaka, etc

@GOMBEE8626 Requesting your help and advice. Thanks in advance.

Ok, so it's a barging-barge barging ship, shipping barging barges and barges? :Smile_hiding:

Market-based price discrimination. That is what it is.

As for why? WG are a profit-based company. If there is a way to make more money, they will take it. The sales team probably crunched the numbers and stats, and figured they would get more returns if they set prices at where they are at. Maybe the Asia server is more willing to spend money on big ticket items. Who knows.

I'd say you're pretty much on point.

I went to Indonesia and they sell a miniature version of the toyota landcruiser workmate cab chassis, for much cheaper than you can buy the full size version in Australia.

I said to myself, damn, there's a landcruiser I could actually afford, and it does the job I need it to.

Can I get this car in Australia?. Hell no. You want a landcruiser, you pay $100,000 AUD for it!.

A classic example of regional economics values set to national average wages and the cost of living.

Oh yes, the entire world is rigged.

The car post may provide a clue, vehicles much more expensive in Aus due to state and federal tax,  difference in Friesland may be due in part to different tax treatment in different jurisdictions.

Not everything is a conspiracy (carefully readjusts tin foil hat)

I don't see what the uproar is.

WG can put whatever price they want on their pixel ships that are really worth nothing.

There is no law that says all servers must charge the same.

With that price tag, I'd rather buy me some good full-price single player games with DLCs... I watched so many hours of Bloodborne and freaking hooked. Well I need a PS4 first.

Why virtual boats. Why indeed.

Well Russia and the EU are much closer to the Netherlands, so much less distance, compared to Asia, for those electrons to travel to deliver your new pixel bote………… :Smile_sceptic:

No good? Ok you come up with something that sounds better :Smile_popcorn:
