They could make it sound from multiple caliber, short-med-long range aura can have diffrent sound. Secondary also can have better sound, 

it appear on suggestion multiple times. but 4 years latter, still have shitty sound effect lol

More bass, longer echoing time, I guess that's what they did to the sounds?

Some sounds are horrible though, AA being one of them. 0.8.7 AA gun sound has the war-like intensity.

0.8.8 Ship's death sound is a horrible thing to hear when you're in Binocular mode.

Why don't they improve the sounds performance? Now I'm using the high sound settings and it still have some cracking issues. Although I upgraded the ram from 4 to 8. At least it's not that often now.

I somehow like the new conqueror gun sound. The "cracking" sound on firing sounded so.... powerful? 

I glad they sort of keep Yamato Gun sound almost the same 🙂

I don't really like the current nor new AA sound though.. The new one seemed like there is no continuation of fire from each anti-air group, with gaps here and there.

I feel like the machine guns are too loud.  I mean, it kinda overlaps the dual purpose guns sounds. It's like you are standing near it while it actually not. Maybe WG should make it dynamic. So if you are in 3rd person view, the sound volume will be reduced but if you are in bridge view, it become louder.

Ah, yes yes, thank you for pointing that out. 🙂

I went and listen again. I heard only 2 types of anti air gun sounds. It'd nice if we can have 3 types: dual purpose guns, mid calibre (40mm?) guns especially original Bofors will be great, and, small calibre machine guns.

Conqueror, G Kurfurst and Kremlin are now have the same Yamato Firing SFX, Yamato had the same firing SFX but more louder than the other Battleships.

Mostly make it no difference You put Yamato firing sound instead of old BB main gun sound

AA gun also weird
