Should I spec IFHE on Nurenberg

Guys I finally got enough points on Heimuth Beckhauer to spec IFHE on Nurenberg but I wanna know from everybody if i actually should or not because it decreases my fire chance  but increases penetration, I don't really cause many fires though because of my unbelievably bad RNG, I got 142 hits with all HE and I caused 1 fire and I did like 20k damage which is the lowest I have ever had on a Nurenberg so I feel like spec ing IFHE cuz even on a Colorado horrible superstructure armour I do like 760 damage each volley.

German 150-mm HE shells have a baked-in IFHE effect with a penetration value of 37-mm without any modifiers. The same applies to 210-mm and 203-mm HE shells.

However the German HE shells are already anemic enough and I do not think it is necessary to choose IFHE as your first T4 captain skill. Concealment Expert would help you better, though I haven't experimented yet if IFHE on Roon/Hindenburg would help fight against those Soviet BBs.

You dont need IFHE for nurnberg

German HE tends to do lesser damage

Also, the T7 cruiser needs IFHE even less, as it has 220mm guns, and you don't want to lock yourself into a captain respec. Just grab CE.

Pick DE instead. A T6 wouldn't see many 32 mm plating anyway, don't bother. Even SE would be more useful somehow.

If you don't pick CE later, are you even playing WoWS at all?

Don't get IFHE on any KM Cruiser, it's already built in and the only ship it'd offer you anything extra vs is Kremlin. But that's pointless.

The reason? KM CL/A HE alpha is anaemic. You basically use your HE to start permafires and then fire AP and aim for super-structure.

So yeah, don't get IFHE on your KM cruisers.

also Yamato - Izumo - musashi : 57mm deck, also Sov Soyus - 60mm deck and upper belt, and Slava ?!?

 

so its like 5 ships (6 with slava), with Yamato, musashi is especialy common in Asia - a quite decent spam list to be extended

I'm not sure about how much of an area it is, but I never have an issue HE penning Yama/Mushi/Izumo with standard 203 HE...

And again, KM CA HE alpha is anaemic so why would you waste 4 points?

Entire midsection. Just look at armor viewer. On soviet bb its quite large

Setting Fire is always rng competition, but pen damage is yours alone
